They should identify every one of their politicians that advocated this policy and force them into a public building with no hot water and heat for the winter. If there are no consequences for these idiots, this will repeat itself globally. The same as the green new deal idiots here.

No way Europe avoids a depression due to the energy shortages and other malaise going on over there. Unfortunately this will bleed over into the rest of the world but at least the us isn’t resource poor like much of the eu.

The CDU/CSU fricked up big time with allowing Laschet to be a candidate. Think of Mitt Romney, but worse. They were trying to protect Frau Merkel by installing one of her puppets which I don't understand why she gets the Obama treatment here. This woman really fricked Germany for decades and is a major reason for this mess ,but for some reason she is above criticism at least in the eyes of the media. People voted for Scholz and the SPD because he kept his mouth shut and the other 2 canidates were beyond terrible. Then there was just enough Greens to form a coalition and now these people have to fix the mess of the last coalition, but the problem is that they are fricking stupid. The only positive is that this may fracture the current coalition and they will like call for snap elections than operate as a minority government. They have 3 nuclear plants that were set to close by 2024 and 3 that were closed that despite resistance are being fired up again. The Greens and some SPD are too stupid to see reality. Germany has alot of problems right now.
