Progressives easily overlook past indiscretions when you're on their side.
That's the only reason Soros is still a thing. He has money, and feeds the left wing insanity.

You're trying hard to move the goalposts (nice try
IF a teenage Typist can be convicted of crimes against the German state, so can a teenage Soros. Otherwise, the entire charade is just...more over-officious bullsh*t optics created NOT in the name of "justice" OR actual "virtue signaling."

I've never claimed the US has a case against Soros for "Nazi-era actions." But rather Comrade Soros' activism in helping subverting constitutional justice and court system of the USA? DEFINITELY.
Why are you defending anti-America, anti-West saboteur Soros so vigorously?

I'll bet you he's a lawyer, and not understanding the conversation. Reminds me of Hank.
He's desperately trying to push the conversation a certain way and failing miserably.

Exactly. Same agenda. Same defense mode phenomena for ALL Progs attempting to subvert & demo the Status Quo.
(Imagine dying on a hill that defends Soros?? )

I'm just saying that George Soros is not relevant to this news story.

No problem with it.

Not defending him at all. Pointing out that he's not relevant to this thread or the story in the OP is not defending him.

It is to some people, you're pissed about it.
Youre thoughts aren't universal. The question is valid. If Germans are convicting 97 yar old women of cooperating, then why not Soros?
Do you have a thought on that?

The MO and select arguments that skirt the crux of the issues at hand and run off the rails of reality are similar.
No way the dude is an attorney; he failed to cite international or US law.

Most progs would call you a liar if you told them that the Soros group is not welcome in some Eastern European nations, including his own.

How would Germany prosecute an American citizen living in the United States?

Linear thinkers, incapable of anything that requires original thought.

Or, is it possible that this story is just an example of Germany doing what it has been doing for 80 years, without any implications outside of that basic story?
I reject the implication that Germans prosecuting Germans in Germany has any bearing on law and justice in the United States, as Liberator has suggested a couple of times.

Modern-day Germans are ashamed of the legacy handed to them by their grandparents' generation. They didn't prosecute this woman because they believe she did something wrong. They prosecuted her in a vain attempt to absolve themselves of the wrongs of her generation.

It is a wholly self-serving exercise. It is childish. It is petty. It is vengeful. It is meaningless. None-the-less, they felt compelled to do it.

George Soros' proudly admitted role as a pro-Nazi teenage tool during WW2?
Please link his statements to this effect. Please do not waste time with memes of a photo depicting a completely different person. Thx

Same as they've done in the past regarding these Holocaust and Nazi related crimes for American citizens.
Since you apparently have no clue, this isn't unique and has happened before.

The media and government's desperate need for nazis far outstrips the supply

Germans are the biggest pussies in Europe. They've happily castrated themselves over the last 15 years.

Its weird how Germany chooses to prosecute these people. They nabbed an Autoworker from Ohio once.
quote:
Demjanjuk emigrated to the U.S. in the 1950s, settling in Ohio and working as an engine mechanic at a Ford plant. He was stripped of his U.S. citizenship in 2002 and is now stateless.
He insists he too was a victim of the Nazis. A Ukrainian national, he said he had been wounded as a Soviet soldier and taken as a prisoner of war by German forces.
He said he was later made to fight with anti-Communist Soviet POWs against the Russian army and never was at the Sobibor camp.

Hey, I’m all for extraditing Soros and stripping him of his citizenship. Force him to go back to Hungary.
Orban would probably prosecute the man himself
