NFL players are the 1% bitching that the 99% oppressed them.

I hope they keep it up...drive down ticket cost to the games and the NFL Sunday ticket cost.

theyre not protesting for themselves, theyre protesting for the people who no one would pay attention to otherwise. nothing is more American than the strong fighting for the weak.

To about 80% of the country and 99.99% of the MSM. They will be obsessed with it and POTUS knows it. It’s distraction he uses to get the real and important things done.

Name them ... the ones you claim they're protesting on behalf of, if you will.

Be specific.

I'll wait.

There is little evidence of racial bias in police killings

Meanwhile behind the scenes our President and members of Congress are working on prison reform/sentencing. Van jones is even working with Kushner on this.

This is the ace in Trumps pocket this football season. Don’t forget he also publicly stated before the G6 summit that any athletes could call him directly or meet with him to discuss issues they wanted addressed. If they aren’t willing to meet then that’s on them.

It has nothing to do with reality; it has everything to do with "hey look at me over here.....I'm an overpaid drama queen"

Even if that were true it still doesn’t make it important. The Kardashian’s probably put up similar numbers.

Glad we agree.

These players are too goddamn stupid to realize they are fricking themselves. Player compensation is directly tied to television contracts. When you drive down viewership ratings, you essentially drive down the value of future television deals. Smaller tv deals = less money for future player contracts. No one has ever accused football players of being smart but Jesus these guys are dumb
