Georgia election question

Since the governor is up for election at the same time as the Senate seat, can any Georgia folks answer this question?
1) will it create high GOP turnout big enough to get both the gov and Senate?
2) is it likely a Republican wins governor but split tickets let Dems keep the Senate seat?
3) Is there any possible way that Bottoms wins the governorship?

Bottoms is hard no. Not happening. It will be a republican governor but I don’t feel great on senate. No standout R candidates at this time

I know some decent black guys that desperately want Duncan to win the Dem nomination. They know the hyphenated lady is a train wreck.
I’m holding out more optimism than you on Senate, but I agree with your premise of Collins and Carter not being overwhelmingly attractive to voters.

Does ossoff have enough cross over with moderate Republicans to win that easily if gov goes big Republican?

The fact Ossoff and “Rev” Warnock won the senate election in the first place is embarrassing. Then again when you run a UGA legacy RB and Loeffler as their opposition what do you expect?

Purdue won more counties but Ossoff carried the metro areas. Not much cross over is needed in that instance.

Keisha Lance Bottoms was so bad as mayor of Atlanta the AA establishment refused to back her for reelection. She dropped out because she knew she couldn't win.

I remember when that limp dick Ossof ran his first campaign in 08? His dumb, milquetoast arse winning made me realize that it's just name recognition with dumb people. It may take a decade, but eventually voters just capitulate to a name they've seen enough of.

With all the scrutiny and confiscation of ballots from 2020, I'm expecting red all over Georgia, Senate & Governor. Georgia is not even close to purple without cheating

You underestimate the hard blue population of most of the counties in and around ATL.

Name recognition is easy to get when out of state boosters are funding your campaign. Didn’t Ossoff have the most out of state money to ever fund a campaign at the time when he won? I’d love to see a law passed where out of state money can’t be used for state election campaigns.

You may be underestimating the volume of cheating.
Remember the busted water main that stopped the counting?
Remember Biden getting more votes than the Messiah Obama?

Fixed it for you.

I'm not really seeing any ads for the Senate race on TV. Just the governor race.
And no, fat Bottoms girl has zero chance.

Bottoms is hard no.
Polls have her leading in the general against either Jackson or Jones which leaves me wanting to vomit.

I lived in Cobb, DeKalb, and Fulton, I know of what you speak. These are the same accountants I worked with that were in debt up to their eyeballs.

Anything is possible in Georgia, it all depends on turnout. Right now in the primary Dem ballots are ahead of Republican ballots by a pretty good margin.
I would hope Lance-Bottoms is toxic enough from her time as Atlanta mayor to make her a no go. If Collins gets the nomination he could potentially pull the "former Republican who can't support Trump," and pull enough votes from the middle to win.
Republican Senate candidates all suck. Collins has ethics issues. Carter may be too MAGA for the middle, and the other choice is Derrick Dooley.
My biggest worry is the state Supreme Court. Those seats are "nonpartisan" and decided on the primary ballot, not in November. The Dems have put up two very liberal women (one worked under Fani Willis at Fulton DA) and are putting a ton of money into tv ads. I believe even if they win the court will still lean conservative but it's a scary slope.

Not hard to understand at all considering Biden had mass mail in voting and Obama didn’t.
