Kemp is actually leading in the runoff polls. That’s shocking to me. I didn’t even think it was going to be close

I pretty well believe it's a given that Stacey Abrams will become the next governor. Wrapped up with ribbons and bows, with a cherry on top.

As Bob Dylan once said, tempus mutantur. And to quote James Brown, it's a new day.

Cagle made a lot of enemies in the GA Senate. I talked to another decently known GA pol last week who doesn't have any love for Kemp and is pretty establishment, and he's campaigning for Kemp entirely because he wants payback on Cagle.

I'm conflicted. Way more people than I expected (who I respect) are voting Kemp because they loathe Cagle. But I don't want Kemp to open up a bunch of culture war bullshite that Deal and Reed largely diffused of late.

We have a snake (Cagle) vs an idiot (Kemp) vs a progressive loon (Abrams). This is the third time in 4 years the state party's negligence has resulted in absolute dogshit candidates in major races.

Now they have Cagle on tape trying to buy Clay Tippins' endorsement in exchange for paying off Tippins' campaign debt.

Cagle is swampy AF.

VP Pence will be at a Kemp rally his weekend.

Cagle has had a rough a couple of weeks. Momentum is definitely in Kemp’s favor.

Cagle started running ads attempting to paint himself as the “pro-Trump” candidate while trying to frame Kemp as a “anti-Trump” Kasich supporter.

THEN Trump endorses Kemp this week? Geez, what a nail in the coffin for Cagle’s campaign

ETA: Let’s just say a lot of Kemp signs are popping up along Paces Ferry Rd..

And he was still running ads as of yesterday touting himself as "pro-trump".

The money is spent, at that point. Trump's endorsement actually costs Kemp more money because he should have his folks scrambling to incorporate that in the last round of ads.

I’m looking forward to finally having a Republican governor, can anybody tell me which one isn’t a former democrat, that’s who I will vote for. And Shafer I guess, cause the other dude is just another former democrat. Shafer may be one too, I just don’t know.

It scares me to think about this liberal bitch getting elected, which is very probable.

I can't imagine many people outside of the perimeter voting for her. I think Brian appeals more to rural voters than Cagle does. He stands a better chance of beating her.

Sheesh. I wish Tippins hadn't split Buckhead and we'd probably have Hunter Hill and Cagle right now.

Outside of the endorsement by Trump and this video of trying to buy an endorsement, what are some reasons to vote against Cagle? My knowledge of Georgia state politics is unfortunately not where it should be.

Kemp, an Athens native.

70-30 dog beating of the corrupt sleazy shady Cagle.

Now he has to beat Stacey Abrams.

This will be watched nationally. And he's going to beat the shite out of her. Muh racism.
