I like how George was put up as some sort of anti-Trump "authority" mainly because he was married to someone close to Trump and didn't like him.
This was the entire story of Trump's Presidency - he considered all these swamp GOPe folks and if he didn't pick them, they almost immediately turned against him. If he did pick them, they often worked against his agenda from the inside.
