He is, but both sides have abandoned belief in free speech and open debate to varying degrees. This is definitely not a problem exclusive to or even mostly on the right. The left has been worse about free speech for years.
Somebody has to turn the other cheek on this at some point. Whoever does it will win me over for life. I don’t specifically fault conservatives for not doing so though. They feel, and I think fairly, that they can’t trust the woke left to play ball or the center left to contain the woke left.

And his ratings were worse than dog shite, it's actually quite convenient for ABC to use this as a reason to cancel his show.
Yeah, it works for them.
I think it’s perfectly fair for ABC to cut who they want from their programming for any reason. But these types of events (the shooting) and the ensuing backlash show that many republicans don’t actually care about free speech.
Greg Abbott was calling on X for Texas State to expel a student the other day for an obscene gesture.
So much for principles. It’s really just us vs them.

What a whiny bitch.
Its impossible to have a conversation with the modern left. You have no ideas left.
All you can do is call people fascist, racist, homophobic...

Cancel culture = people digging up old social media posts from 10+ years ago to get you fired.
Consequence culture = people pointing out ridiculously dumb/inflammatory (and in Kimmel's case, flat out false) shite you've said within the last week.

I think that both Tucker and Kimmel were ultimately fired because they cost their bosses too much money. Speech or not. Money is king.

Because these figs are dishonest.
Looking inward is something they cannot do. All they can do is call you names because they lost the real of ideas.

For about the millionth time since the left and concerned “moderates” don’t seem to understand.
There is a difference between openly celebrating someone’s death and saying they don’t want a Covid shot or that chicks with dicks don’t belong in women’s locker rooms (the left threw bitchfits for both those things in addition to a million other nonsense causes and is now crying when it’s used against them). If the right celebrated Biden getting assassinated they’d deserve to lose their job for being a garbage human being just like what’s going on with people and CK currently.

Now you are just redefining to fit your argument. That’s a blatant liberal tactic bro.

Respectfully, this is just not correct.
It feels really good, but it's rationalization. When folks on the right were being cancelled for things done in real time, it was cancel culture. As much as the left wanted to say it was consequences, it wasn't. It was waiting for someone to say something slightly wrong so they could get them out of the public eye so they could further their agenda.
That is what is happening here.
It will all make sense when people on the right wake up and realize that they aren't on the team. The administration in the white house currently thinks all of us are rats. You're not winning because there is no team. There is an admin hell-bent on stripping your freedoms and they don't give a shite about party. They are using your emotions to make you feel like there is a fight.
There is no fight. There are only people in power who want more power, whatever means it takes.
I really hope a lot of you read this and even stop for a second to ponder if maybe I'm not insane. Maybe that is what's happening?

Correct. Although Tucker was fired because of a lawsuit and Kimmel was fired because no one was watching and ABC was just looking for any excuse.

No theres not. Not to mention most of these cases the people aren’t even celebrating his death, but honestly that’s irrelevant.

Can you link your anti cancellation posts from 2020-21? Thx

The a-hole has the right to say whatever he wants that’s truth. The a-hole can not just spew whatever he thinks is right.
His boss has the right to fire the a-hole for whatever they want.
