I know the 70 percent number is absolute nonsense that feminiazi's spread because they aren't very intelligent. Is there a proven pay gap or is it all just speculation by liberals. I can't find any evidence of one from a legit source, wonder if anyone here has proof of it.

Trying to show my GF it's bullshite, so any links help.

Go to Reason.com and search gender pay gap...they had a number of articles on it.

Ask for a specific company that she knows of that pays their employees less. Desires the DNC. We already know they do.

When you compare job title/duties and hours worked, there is no pay gap.

The "pay gap" results from quality of life choices for the woman. Time off for having children, less hours, etc.

But of course the second part gets buried because it doesn't fit the narrative.

I've heard there is one but it's a couple percent, not 30. It's likely attributed to men working more than women and taking less time off.

there is a pay gap, but it is self inflicted. You would have to compare against women with no kids only to get even close to an apples to apples comparison, and you still aren't really there yet when you consider most women's physical limitations to high paying blue collar jobs such as plant work, oilfield etc

There is no way to accurately assess pay gap when all factors that influence an employee’s pay are taken into consideration. Anyone that says otherwise is lying. Also, the vast majority of people’s salaries are not public record. So again, skewed numbers and lies are being spread to advance a political agenda.

This is not to say that pay discrimination doesnt exist, but there is absolutely no accurate way to determine it.

It is bullshite when all variables are equal (hours, job description, time off, etc).

If course, throw in maternity and a bunch of other factors and you get a skewed number that benefits a political agenda push.

I asked my fiance her opinion on it (she's C-level HR) and her immediate response was "utter bullshite."

All that makes sense. It seemed like utter bs but they claim it so much, had to make sure. Can't let the GF win an argument or she will hold it over my head.

Dump the girlfriend, because she is apparently dumber than shite and should not be used for procreating the human population.

She probably likes to watch Oprah, the View and Real Housewives.

In my department at work, it is 100% men. Don't you think if there were women that could do what we do for 30% less that my boss would jump all over it?

It has been proven. Bernie, Hillary, Pocahontas among other were busted paying their female staffers much less than their male counterparts.

Another factor at play is that women are proven to be less likely to negotiate their initial salary than men. I have read a bunch of job negotiation articles lately and this is a very common theme.

Men and women are different, they act differently. Who would have thought.

Ben Shapiro broke it down with useful stats about gender wage gap, and from what I can recall, it was something like a single (unmarried, no kids), college graduate employed woman in her 20s and early 30s make within 5% of men with the same job and qualifications, but the same category of women were found to make slightly more than men in similar industry if they were living/working in a big city. Might wanna fact check that cause it was from a few months ago.

ETA: Ben Shapiro: Equal Pay Facts

quote:

According to a new analysis of 2,000 communities by a market research company, in 147 out of 150 of the biggest cities in the U.S., the median full-time salaries of young women are 8% higher than those of the guys in their peer group. In two cities, Atlanta and Memphis, those women are making about 20% more.

Assuming there is such a thing, do what my wife did.

She married me and lives in a community property state.

We have exactly the same income.
