I’m no biblical scholar but I always found the idea that God is cool with homosexuality to be a little beyond the realm of possibility.

We would love to open a Louisiana chapter! If you have friends or family members who are LGBT or detransitioned, who believe in our cause, and who live in Louisiana, invite them to go to our website and join. There is a vetting process as a part of the application process that includes an interview by a national leader. Potential members must be 18 or older.

for us, there is no closet to go back to.

You want to make a stand against something you view as abhorrent, but you are not willing to admit your culpability in the creation of it.

You are like someone who takes several steps up a stairway that many told you not to go up and now you stand on your step and deny those who want to go further. That's hypocritical of you.

Sexuality should have remained a private thing between consenting adults. It can still go back to that if you just stop flying your flags and staging your parades and flaunting your sexual preferences in everyones face. Gays (and heterosexuals) have NO rights other than the human rights we all share.

If you want to do something really worthy and not so hypocritical, try convincing your fellow gays to stand down and do their thing privately, out of the bright lights of society. Stop screaming to the world, "Look at me, accept me as I am, respect me and what I do."

So I think this went down the wrong path because:

While most people here are fine for adults to do whatever they want with another adult, e.g. furries, BDSM, midgets, etc...

They do not have to personally approve of anyone else's actions, nor should they.

If you make a fantastic steak, I don't need to approve of your actions, I am not proud of you, I am proud of my family and friends, and that's about it.
You don't need my approval, and I don't owe you any approval.

Yes, we should all try to protect children, but once this thread included people moving into religion with absurd claims that gay acts are just fine by biblical standards this was going to go down the same path as if someone claimed Biden was a good catholic while being pro abortion.

Good for you. Gays Against Groomers were the gays telling the truth that they just wanted equal rights and to be left alone. Proud that you’re helping lead the charge against groomers and pedophiles that are using your former movement as a skin mask. Just destroy them all please.

Does your group believe that children under the age of 18 should be allowed to "transition" if their Hollywood/mentally disturbed parents brainwash them and indoctrinate them into this freakish cult?

Gays Against Groomers are fully against this shite. They’re relatively normal people that like to suck cock or eat pussy in the privacy of their own bedroom and leave the kids alone.

Yeah, bro. You clearly don’t know me at all.

Besides, I wasn’t talking to you. I was answering a sincere question from another poster.

People are born with a sinful nature. That sinful nature manifests itself in various ways, with predispositions towards certain sins. Some are predisposed to alcoholism while others are predisposed to sinful lusts, whether towards the opposite sex or the same sex. Sin is sin, no matter how a person is predisposed. Simply saying "I'm born that way" doesn't alleviate anyone of their responsibility to obey God.

Is there anything biblical or scientific that extends your claims to homosexual behaviors?
Nothing scientific shows that people were "Born that way", and I'm unaware of anything biblical.

My claim is a theological one, not a scientific one. I'm addressing the issue of sinful behavior stemming from a sinful nature. I'm claiming that God defines what is right and wrong moral behavior, and that sexual lust or behavior outside of the confines of heterosexual marriage is sinful (morally wrong).

I believe all people are born with a sinful nature that manifests itself with various struggles that are stronger in some people. Struggles with self-esteem or pride, struggles with addictions of various kinds, struggles with sexual desire, and struggles with anger or covetousness are all examples of things that different people struggle with to varying degrees.

Homosexuality is a different expression of sexual lust that expresses itself differently in different people. I wouldn't say people are "born" homosexuals, but are "born" sinful and may struggle with homosexual lust in a way that another person may not in time.

Regardless of what sin a person struggles with, all people are supposed to repent of their sins, put their trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness of their sins, and seek God's grace in fighting against those sins. That includes homosexuals and those who consider themselves trans.

i have a ton of 'old school' gay friends who share your thoughts almost verbatim.

i'm old enough to remember that GAY bars are for gays and LESBIAN bars are for lesbians and this forced media 'OH LOOK THEY LAUGH AND HANG OUT TOGETHER' was the first round of gas-lighting.

no, no they dont.

This is not true at all. OP is sharing a viewpoint that is waaaaay more common than you realize.

I know a ton of gay people. There’s a huge amount of gay people that don’t like this shite and don’t like the fact that the trannies and the Q’s hijacked the “movement” and now they have to be associated with them. They’re completely different categories of people and for some reason we forced them into LGBTQIEJCCKI all together. But they feel pressured to “stand together” because the T’s and the Q’s are brutal when they don’t get their way.
