If your'e agreeing with DeBoar it might behoove you to question if you're the one that went off the deep end and not others that disagree with you.

Same here. But OP made a statement about oil dipping into the 70s today, which is true, if you’re talking about crude futures market. It dipped to $79 & change before heading back a bit over the $80 mark.
It’s just whichever price point one wants to use. Typically the real time price points you referenced is what the vast majority of folks use. Oil futures didn’t just dip, but closed below $80 three straight days in May. Yet WTI still averaged $102.13 for the month of May.
Barring something major breaking in the next couple days to cause oil to hugely spike, we should see WTI average below $100 for June.

Why? Domestic pump and logistics prices don't move on a 6 month basis here. Price at the pump unfortunately means a lot town to town, fill up to fill up.

I think it’s funny and fascinating.
It has flown by. It kinda coincided with my westward move and it’s hard to believe it’s been almost three years.
Looking forward to getting back to FL. It’s beautiful here but just not for me.
