How the hell is anybody surprised by this?

It has been obvious for weeks that Cohn was not going to be around much longer.
How was it obvious until maybe last week when the tariffs were announced? Did you make a post about it weeks agk, or anyone else? Was there any stories about it weeks ago?

Come on OML...this was in the works for weeks.

Everybody knew Cohn was going to leave after tax reform was done

Yes, there were many articles published in 2017 that Cohn wouldn’t stay long after he got tax reform through

That was his big project

I mean, yeah, but it doesn't excuse the other 87 people who have had to resign.

Axios guy says the last straw was Trump cancelling a meeting he'd set up with execs in steel/aluminum using industries (auto industry, O&G, construction)

Well that was months ago. And he didn't leave. In fact, even months later this seems to be the shortest tenure of NEC in it's 25 year history as a position.

An irreplaceable member and leader of the administration and someone that the President truly respects after he walked all over Reince Preibus.

i was just saying earlier that by now surely trump had gotten several earfuls from everyone else in the economy besides steel facility owners

but that's pretty dumb even for trump

I'm sure those articles mentioned he'd wait for some tariff announcements before leaving

Let's see, Trump only hires the best people. And yet, there is more turnover in the Trump White House then your local McDonalds.

Of course Trumpkins would spin this into some kind of victory.

Continue your march over the cliff my little lemmings.

The market shows were talking this morning about how stocks rebounded bc Wall Street was confident that Gary and Congressional Republicans would walk Trump back

Sounded like a lot of whistling past the graveyard to me
