When you consider the fact that it's mighty coincidental that this came out against one of the most vocal Republican critics of Democrats, an attack dog one might say....together with....the ridiculous and farfetched nature of the photo sharing claims to begin with === it's just not hard to come away from it with complete dismissiveness. Not to mention the seemingly familiar scenario that we've seen all too often: salacious allegations, claims of solid evidence of it, later on coming to find out that they flat out lied about having the evidence they clearly said they had. Trump-Russia immediately comes to mind.

I have a family friend who was a US rep for a couple of years and he said whatever you can imagine, it's worse. Booze, drugs and runway model quality "women" are extremely common and they especially like to throw them at the new guys when they first show up in DC. I was just talking about the "this happened on the House floor" stuff. Some anonymous source is trying to act like they're clutching their pearls well after the fact?
I'm skeptical of the story just because of the timing, but if it's true all that tells me that this sort of thing is normal enough that nobody make a stink about it when it happened.
