Drones can't fathom the amount of work, pressure, and decisions that come with a c-suite position. It's too foreign to what they do and or their supervisor does day in and day out.

They see the lavish lifestyle projected in the media but fail to realize the CEO has put in more hours working by April than they will the entire year.

This isn't to say they are all infallible or the smartest person in the room.

Absolutely. People who have never done shite in their lives dont understand the hard work and sacrifice that goes into advancing a career.

The average worker also deals with significant work and pressure in their own right but without the lavish compensation. I think the CEOs will be just alright if people don’t feel sorry for them.

Youre paid by how much it cost to replace you. No skill? Tough shite.

There is no excuse for a lack of skill and/or education in 2023.

Because only a REAL leader takes zero stock in the everyday pressures and obligations of lower level employees. I swear you people who simp for execs of multinational corporations are so bizarre.

Then why don't you become a CEO? If it's the same job with a different title, why not go for it?

I never said I feel sorry for them. I couldn't give less of a shite.

Eh, I used to be one of the "well, the CEO has the most responsibility therefore they get the most money" type of people but that's faded fairly quickly over the last 5-10 years. The truth is that these companies don't give 2 fricks about their employees and they're not ashamed of it. Whether you want to admit it or not, there's a huge gap between even the top 3rd of these companies and those even in the middle, not just the bottom and it's growing every year.

If a CEO of one of these large companies fricks up and they get canned, they're handed 10's of millions of dollars then move on as CEO of another Fortune 500 company. They have far less to lose than the guy with a wife and 2 kids busting his arse making $55k/year.

...and I'm of the libertarian persuasion

So you feely admit that most average employees should fear for their job every morning they wake up. But the sad thing is you think that’s a good thing because in your failure of a life you seek solace in the idea that in another reality you could have been the big boss man.

Anyone who's worked for a company with over 2,000 employees knows very well what the deal is. No quarter is asked and none is given. Executive level people look at the people below them as resources to exploit and will only do the minimum they can to keep them around to continue exploiting them. Ask them and they'll tell you.

I find it strange how a person can find themselves feeling exploited by an organization that provides a house, car and food to them. Go fricking start your own Hamburger joint then you will know what exploitation is for real. Two things are highly overrated in this world, natural childbirth and self-employment.

Are you implying that because they give you a paycheck, there's no way they can exploit you?

There are some pretty weak arse excuses for the use of the word "exploited" in this thread.

I will give you money for work = a long arse thread about exploitation?

Wtf

This is 2023. Who the hell are you people? This is what eats at you?

If you don't like it, don't go to work. What kind of cuck takes a job voluntarily and then bitches about exploitation for pages on the internet?
You are letting this frick with your dignity. It is weak.

Is it really your position that as long as some company gives you a paycheck, there's no way they can exploit you?

If they are exploiting you, then you are voluntarily taking it.
Thus the cuck reference.

Yes. I stand firm on that position and I am in amazement that this shite has been posted for 5 pages.

They are a perpetual victim in their world. They take no responsibility for anything.

You're either, under the age of 22, over the age of 65, or have never worked for a Fortune 500 company before. You're the exact person these companies lust over - a mindless drone who thinks the CEO cares about the people that make him money.
