Yeah, calling out shitty modern corporate culture means you're just a shitty employee. I bet you'll also piss and moan when these major corporations team together to punish political dissidents they don't like too.

I get it.
The firm you worked at had a shitty culture so all of the firms have shitty culture.

I'm shocked that they hired you. Your personality is so not shitty.

I'm sure the company logo you got tattooed on your arm really impressed your boss

Exactly.

These threads are so full of jealousy and bitterness.

No denying that shitty cultures are that way because they promulgate hiring shitty personalities?
Everyone but you... of course.

Yeah, hiring me really led to the downfall of their corporate culture

That's the opposite of what I said.
But you are in your feelings right now.
It makes sense that you struggle to comprehend simple things with all of your emotions.

What is that saying? Something like, "if everyone you meet is an a-hole."

Your company doesn’t want to promote you huh? Sorry man. At least you’ll get that 3% cost of living increase every year. …. Or maybe you won’t?

You are the kind of person that would actually benefit from being in a union. You could sit around the table sipping coffee all day while bitching about the suits at corporate.

i don’t have a dog in this fight, but i’ll say this: i think you and upgrayedd probably sit in the same camp more than you think. and we should take this down a notch. upgrayedd is a pretty solid poster and dude.

Did you think of this by yourself? That’s CEO logic there my friend.

My comments are pretty specific.

If you are being exploited by your work, quit.

If your CEO makes you miserable, quit.

I wouldn't pretend to project that my corporate experience is the same as any one else. It is very anecdotal. But that doesn't silence me from sharing my experience.

agreed. and personally i don’t take issue with much of anything you’ve posted in this thread. i too work in the corporate world, but overall it’s been a great experience and led to a fulfilling career. i’m blessed and could care less who our CEO is or to the OP, how much he makes.

Corporate culture is pretty stifling, but people CHOOSE to work there over a private business.

They want the money and security, just not the bullshite that goes with it. They should leave.

The Warner Bros. discovery CEO makes about $100 million a year and is always one of the highest paid CEOs yet the value of the stock(s) are down by 50% over 5 years. These people are not mythical beings with special vision into the future they are largely self promoters
