Under the new 2021 GA Voter Integrity law (the one where we passed Jim Crow 2.0 according to Gov Abrams), the state can take over the local election boards.

Because of optics it won't happen in 2022. But, I would imagine my story will be one of many that will be told to the commission to take over the Fulton County Elections Board in 2023.

Dude, raise hell right now. if you are afraid to speak out now, what the damn point of voting my man.

Would you be willing to speak on the record with the media?

Since this is a Primary Election, not worth the effort.

Was able to cast votes on statewide offices and local state (not county) offices. Ballot had me in the wrong US Congressional district.

If this had been the General, absolutely, would be willing to go to the media.

Offense meant here. You are the problem and just like Kemp.... looking the other way.

Yes... Like 2020, they will "investigate" the time away and nothing changes. The General will be too late.

Congrats!

Where did you try and vote early?

I know it's not the source of your issues, but for Fulton all the SS early voting locations I've ever used have been great, no lines, pleasant, etc.

6th US Congressional race - based on the current polling, my choice (that I did not get to vote for) will most likely be in the runoff next month. If the polls are correct, my uncast vote, most likely, would not have impacted the outcome. But, you never know.

I am north Fulton, and voted today. No issues.

Parking lot was full of pickup trucks, and 100% Caucasian inside, but it did seem like every female in the place had those thick-squared off glasses that signify Biden voter, so who knows what the turnout is going to be party-wise.

Dude, your obsession with Kemp is creepy.

There is nothing to investigate.

I live in a little sliver of land that happens to be US 6th. My precinct is in the US 5th.

Looking at the districting maps, I would guess you are talking about maybe 400-500 potential voters. Would guess that the majority of these are Demorats.

The programmers at the Fulton County Board of Elections screwed up with their database for this little sliver.

If this is still the case for the runoff next month, then, there will be a strong pursuit of getting this corrected.

We've got to choose our battles. This is not one I think is worth dying on.

Next month may be a different story.

So its ok for it to be wrong in primaries, but not general. What kind of belief structure is that???

If you dont speak out in the primary, the SAME PROBLEM WILL EXIST IN THE GENERAL.

Oh, well as long as it doesn't affect more than 400-500 voters...

Could be that your area is in new congressional district due to redistricting?

First thing that came to mind when I read the OP.

You must be black. It's the ONLY reason this happened to you.

See explanation above.

Also, the GA SOS office is aware of the problem with Fulton County and has been assisting me through the process.

If it is not corrected next month for the primary runoffs, there will be a full on effort to make it public and get it corrected.

Fulton County Board has assured the GA SOS that it will be fixed by the runoff.

Not OP but I think he took that into account (he lives in GA-6, polling place is in GA-5)

Our area stayed in the 6th with redistricting (barely).

The problem is the Precinct we vote at moved to the 5th District after redistricting. The Fulton County Board programmers screwed up.
