You shouldn’t do that. I apologize for giving you the benefit of the doubt to explain your position.

I'm always happy to see posters like you admit who you really are.
Thank you for your cooperation.

I'll give you 60,000 SFP bucks if you can tell me what these two are even arguing about.

Quiet everyone...this is my favorite part.

I have no idea. I just keep hearing the dueling banjos from Deliverance each time one of them responds to the other.

Will this be the five minute argument or the full 20?

You can if they are doing so as a 503c non-profit organization, and you can't if the religion isn't being practiced through one.
No strike. Ordinary religions have that benefit. Ordinary people exercising free speech do not. Nice try sea lawyer, but no dice.
All you did was shift the dilemma over. These two constitutional rights are still being treated differently.

You see? This is a foolish attempt to establish parallelism among the various treatments of our constitutional rights. There is no parallelism, nor should there be.
You are correct there is not equal treatment amongst individual rights and liberties, but why shouldn’t there be. I honestly haven’t thought about the question before, but there are limited situations where you have to register and get permission to exercise a fundamental constitutional right, but all seem to involve the use of a commons (e.g a parade or protest). The latter can be highly controversial and subject to strict scrutiny. In many states a mere expression of the right EVEN ON PRIVATE PROPERTY requires state registration and in some cases state petmission

"Beep, Bop, Boop".
Gina Carano would like to offer a counter point.

They want us to register to vote ... but one process is different than the other.
Exactly. It will forever be a different process. One is used to elect while the other keeps a check on a gooooooooberment of the people.

Because the rights they address are very different from one another and none are absolute. For example, the right to keep and bear arms is often thought of as a right to have guns, but that’s not what it says. If taken to be absolute we would each be able to keep and bear nuclear weapons. Now that’s insane. So we put reasonable limits on the second amendment. What is reasonable is obviously subject to intensive and passionate debate, but the debate must be had, because no one sane thinks we can allow everyone to have rocket propelled grenades, tanks and ballistic missiles.

I am a firm believer that whatever is needed to keep a goooooooooooberment of the people in check can be owned by the people.

It's also bullshite. Anti-gun retards have been trying to push this talking point for quite some time.

No one ask DisplacedBuckeye to expound on his point or explain his viewpoint though.
God forbid one explain their views on a discussion board.

Read federalist papers. Our founders used pseudonyms to voice their opinions to avoid the same political scrutiny as today.
