Free food and movie in Waskom, Texas city park. Whites not invited.

A few weeks ago the small east Texas town of Waskom's city council voted to ban abortions in Waskom. It was mostly a symbolic thing as Waskom doesn't have an abortion clinic.
Anyway, there's a group calling themselves Counter Balance and this weekend they had a free showing of Black Panther with free food and music with just 1 stipulation...only people who identify as black are invited.
Could you imagine the outcry if the roles were reversed?

This is actually a ruse. Everybody there will be checked for weed and warrants.

https://www.counterbalanceatx.org/Activist group based out of Austin. I cannot imagine this getting grass root support in Waskom without outside influence.
