they've got an immigration timebomb ticking

France could be on the brink of civil war

Two years ago, after yet another couple of nights of rioting in the banlieues, twenty retired French generals wrote an open letter to Emmanuel Macron, then about to run for a second term, warning that the divisions between communities and increasing “violence and nihilism” in France would eventually cause a social breakdown, with a risk of “chaos” leading to a “civil war” that would then “require” a military “intervention… in a dangerous mission to protect our civilisational values and safeguard our compatriots”.

Strong stuff, co-signed by some 100 senior officers and about a thousand other members of the military, in a country where the Army is known as “the Great Mute”, i.e. never expressing a preference in national politics. In the one instance, during the Algerian independence war, when four generals attempted a putsch against President Charles de Gaulle on April 21, 1961 to protest the projected departure of France from her rebelling colony, they were followed by a pitiful number of the military, and the coup petered out within three days. Six decades later, the Lettre des généraux was received with contempt, with most commentators calling its authors “irrelevant”, reading its apocalyptic predictions as a “threat” against the Republic.

Yet this week Olivier Véran, the cabinet spokesman, seemed to share those conclusions as, on a visit to the village of Crépol, south of Lyon, he warned that France might be at a “tipping point” after the fatal stabbing of a local 16 year-old boy. Condemning both the knife attacks during a Saturday evening dance and the subsequent march by right-wing activists intent on a fight into the neighbourhood where the suspects live, the minister vowed that the government would stand with the bereaved family and called for a harsh sentencing, “up to a life sentence [with] no mitigating circumstances”, for the culprits. He reportedly added that the government is “clearly” aware that violence from “packs” is ratcheting up “tensions... you can’t stand these gangs any more... neither can we”, promising the “full mobilisation” of the state to “guarantee the safety of all citizens”.

The French have been known to clean house when things go too far.

The problem with a French civil war is both sides trying to out-surrender the other.

Don't worry.... I'm sure if shite goes down, the French military will protect the citizens and not the retarded, violent migrants.

The problem is all of their diversity is coming from Africa and the Middle East. They need more South and Central American diversity.

I've long said that this will be the scenario that determines the fate of our Nation, not talk/politics or voting. At best the 'government' can try to separate Groups which essentially hate each other, but the very act of 'separation' inevitably goes bad and the government is forced to choose one side over the other.

The murderous and pillaging gangs that the Dems protect and justify in our Cities via the 'oppression/inequality' narrative will come back to bite them in the arse pretty soon. And all the MSM happy-face, candy coating won't change that.

It's coming. Mother Nature is unforgiving. Lord have mercy on them who love.

A lot of countries have. In particular, European ones.

I have always thought the Islamic invasion was risky. Especially when they refuse to assimilate and they rape, pillage, riot and burn. Eventually, the thick line of anti-Nazism, anti genocide gets broken and the sickly efficient extermination machine gets up and running again.

Europe is the LAST place I would want to be as Muslim. Muslims either succeed in exterminating the local generational population, or they will be exterminated.

I thought the backlash would have been 10 years ago, but the goodness of people repulsed by what happened in WWII is strong. I don't think it is invincible.

From a Christian religious stand point, it does seem like it fits prophesy.

While reading this, my conspiracy theory mind started getting the vibe that all the "Far-Right is the biggest threat to democracy" was a long term plan to draw the right into a civil war in some countries so they could come back with "I told you so! We have to lock them up!".

It should happen all over Europe, then here. That is what we need to save our decaying society. Anything less is the slow collapse of decent society.

Now do Germany.

Germany is now spending an unimaginable 67% of welfare money spent on “refugees”. The government has effectively told their citizens to frick off

What we are seeing right now is the distinction between democracy and a republic. Democracy is giving people what they want when they say they want it, which is fickle. A republic means giving them what they need regardless of what they want. Europe asked for this. Same as the American left. A responsible government would have predicted this outcome and prevented it.

If this does break out, the EU as a whole will be on fire. The pressure is building up in western Europe. Spain will join in, then the UK, Holland, Sweden, Germany...the time is now that's for sure.

The further away in time from the history people are, the easier it is to repeat said history.
