Genuineness. It’s almost all about genuineness. At least these days it is. Most everyone has figured out in some form or fashion, to some degree or another, that they’ve been being lied to and/or manipulated the entire time. Like him or hate him, Trump is by a long, long stretch and consequently comes across as genuine. Only truly deranged people are incapable of seeing the unbelievable extent of Harris’ disingenuousness and deceitfulness. Leaving everyone else admitting to themselves, in some cases albeit very quietly, that the only candidate they can trust to not literally sell them down the road for personal gain and petty payback is DJT.

I find a 14 pt shift hard to believe. However, it’s definitely possible. It’s difficult to imagine her as POTUS after listening to her. No policy, no insight just political rhetoric. I will take my chances with a known commodity, warts and all.

Vibe I've gotten as well. Trump didn't do himself any favors, but people wanted something from her and didn't get it. She's gonna need to be way more visible going forward and I feel like that'll backfire.

they're using a pre-debate poll... and not saying what it says fully: "A 14-point shift towards Trump among independents." Not overall...
"Among independents, Trump (49%) edges Harris (46%). This is a 14-point shift from August when Harris was up 11 points over Trump in a multicandidate field."

Independents are 25% of total vote. 14% of 25% means a 3.5% swing in overall votes. That is believable.
