Did you ever consider there are reasons for people not liking his policies? I agree that it's a lot of people at this point just don't like him because he's an a-hole and are much more inclined to disagree with everything he says because of it. That use of the word doesn't fit. To retard something using that definition is to impede or hold back. You were using a slur to call someone dumb. Your attempt to justify it by using a definition you didn't understand only proves you to be low info and low education.
