Did you research who actually made the final call to recommend firing of McCabe? It wasn't anyone near or on Trump's team.

The final call was Sessions. I consider him on Trump's team.

if the purpose of firing him in that manner was to discredit him as a witness, then i guess that could be seen as obstruction. for me, that would be a long reach though.

The tweets do more to try to discredit him than anything else IMO

had sessions released the IG report with his statement, then this would be ironclad. is there a stated reason why he didnt? have you heard if there are any designs on that report being made public?

Exactly. Why not just do this and make it clear what he did wrong and when and how many times. It just all feels rushed.

No, because you asserted that they are just following OIG and OPR's recommendation. I've seen no evidence that shows they recommended firing him before Sund

Do you need a roadmap? The writing of his firing has been on the wall for months. When you get put on leave the way he was, one of the possible outcomes is getting shitcanned. If he retires with full pension, he essentially gets away with his misconduct. Short of hauling him to jail, firing his arse and denying him his pension is a substantial penalty.

Hopefully they can convict him on criminal charges and take away his entire pension.

What timing exactly are you referring to?

Wray was briefed on OIG report back in Dec. the weekend before McCabe was told not to come back to work.

But im sure you know all the details of OIG report and which sections were earmarked for accelerated completion to assist the president’s admin with obstructing justice.

I completely agree, if they can prove it in court, he should go to jail and have his pension taken away.

Can we agree the same should happen to Gen Flynn now as well?

That case is fixing to be thrown out.

Yeah. I wouldn’t have a problem with a convicted felon going to jail.

Who are these shitasses speculating when they do not have all the evidence?

That is an insult to the obama appointee OIG and the mueller appointed OPR person.

Lmao

Please put Flynn under oath and force him to tell his whole story. I 100% whole heartedly agree we should get to the bottom of the story he has to share.

But you’re not going to like how that plays out.

The investigation described in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) report was cleaved off from the larger investigation of which it was a part, its completion expedited, and the disciplinary process completed in a little over a week. Mr. McCabe and his counsel were given limited access to a draft of the OIG report late last month, did not see the final report and the evidence on which it is based until a week ago, and were receiving relevant exculpatory evidence as recently as two days ago. We were given only four days to review a voluminous amount of relevant evidence, prepare a response, and make presentations to the Office of the Deputy Attorney General. With so much at stake, this process has fallen far short of what Mr. McCabe deserved.

Nope.

According to reports from the actual agents who questioned Flynn, THEY did NOT think he was lying or misleading.

Only AFTER McCabe TOLD them to rewrite their notes did Flyn's charges come about.

This is one part of the OIG and FBI recommendation to fire McCabe.

Sessions as AG has the ability to overrule the OIG and OPRs recommendation. That means he has the final call.

Soo... what timing exactly hints at obstruction of justice?

Again, Wray was briefed back in Dec. told mcCabe then not to come back to work. Was Sessions supposed to allow someone being recommended by FBI and OIG to be fired just slide through retirement date?

Yea... no, get rekt.

I would love for him to be under oath in front of a jury or even congress.

You have to realize that you are talking to a guy who believed McCabe simply retired and that it was the plan all along.
