Watch the documentary “The Trayvon Hoax”. Zimmerman himself explains what happened there. He was in his vehicle. He was not following Trayvon per say. He thought the 911 operator wanted him to maintain a visual. You have to see the documentary. It’s all explained.

And the most relevant point BY FAR is that he asked to lie down.
I think it's pretty relevant that he never acted violently or in a threatening manner toward the police, despite all the assurances from this board that he must have or else they never would have restrained him with a knee to the neck.
And yeah, he asked to lie down. He never asked for someone to kneel on his neck until he died.
The cop was being a bully and a dick and he had a long documented history of being a bully and a dick. i don't think the act was racially motivated, I think it was motivated by him being a bully and a dick. Obviously he didn't mean to kill the guy, but when you act like a bully and a dick and someone dies as a result (even if it was only partially as a result of your actions), you have to pay the piper.

I ask this because I know more than one bad apple who swears that their repeated run ins with the Police are NEVER their fault and that the Po-Po were "out to get them".
