People still falling for the victim card and social camouflage the left uses are now complicit. If you’re too stupid to see what’s going on spare us from your regurgitated and prescribed talking points. You can’t just do the opposite of what you say 24-7 and keep hiding behind a make believe message.

No!! I disagreed with him doing that as well

Good for you Trey. Go tell that to the cancel mob in sports and social media slaughtering O’s character right now, but said nothing when he praised a democrat.

Just amazes me how blacks bash Trump when he has done more for them than Obama ever did. Just plain ignorance.

Particularly black athletes. He, and the USFL, made it fashionable to poach underclassmen forcing the NFL to change their policy on this matter.

I wonder if any praise of Obama would have been met with the same disdain.

If he said he “loved” Obama on national television, this board would melt down. Donors would be pissed. Therefore, it would similarly be problematic from a university perspective. If he had said what I think he should have said (“We appreciate the president’s support of our team and of college football. It was a true honor to be guests at the White House. We were so pleased to be able to demoralize Alabama and Clemson in front of a sitting president—in the same season.”) in response to a question about any president, it wouldn’t be problematic.

Why can't Clark voice his displeasure with something he disagrees with at LSU?

He did and he can.

And in response, I can say he’s a clueless idiot.

Why do you accuse him of being a robot for refusing to behave like one? Do you realize how crazy you seem?

I mean he can say what he wants but O shouldn’t let him around the program anymore either

How do think it would actually play out if Coach O made an affirmative choice to dissociate the program from a great former Tiger who now is just about the most high profile Tiger in the media all because of his opinions on the relative safety of playing during a pandemic? Like what happens on day 2 after Clark is banned. How do you think Marcus and Booger take it? How about Odell? Seems like doing such a thing would be throwing oil in the fire. Alternatively, O can do absolutely nothing since Ryan Clark's opinion is in no way governing here.

He loves and supports JBE who I despise more than Obama.

Never bothered me.

It's Os program and his choice. Although I don't see him banning any players but if they but heads that much even publicly you can bet your arse they won't be welcome.

No!! He showered JBE with praise a few weeks ago, and no one even noticed.

If he “loves” Obama, a few locals get their panties twisted, sure. But NO ONE in the sports media or player community says a word. Donors don’t bat an eye. No one on ESPN calls for “changes in the boot”.

If he said the opposite, you would praise him. Stop being insufferable

Scroll up. I addressed this. If he had praised Obama or talked negatively about Trump, it would still be problematic. I’m able to consider alternative possibilities and test my logic and emotion against them. It’s pretty clear, from our limited interactions, that you can’t do the same. It’s about owning libs and defending your party/identity at all costs for you. I don’t see that as insufferable though. It’s just sad.

When’s the last time Clark was on campus or at a team event? He’s a mail in alum, he’s more ESPN than LSU.

Calling O a robot is not an insult. He’s basically built a juggernaut with his ability to positively promote LSU & his brand. And what he said today goes against that.

He's only a negative symbol to the black community because they've been told so by the Democrat Party and the media. The effects on the black community of his policies say otherwise.

Lol Ryan Clark wouldn't be shite without LSU.

This is ahistorical. Ryan Clark came into the league as a slow, undersized, undrafted Free Agent. Not even a priority signing. His first signing bonus was $1,000. From there he clawed his way into a ring, a Pro Bowl, a thousand tackles, 10+ years in the League, and career in broadcasting. Ryan Clark is a self-made man.
