If it's not profitable, why build it? If you're doing it with an endgame in mind (get the ball rolling at a loss so you can build these better and more affordable for those who happen to want them), then fine but quit bitching about it.

What do you think isn't close to true? Comparing a GMC Sierra 1500 with the SLT package against the Ford F150 Lariat, the two are much more comparable than you would think, the price difference is about 5-10,000 on the sticker. Ford rarely runs good incentives anymore while GMC has a ton of rebates right now. Roughly the same trade, the difference between the two when it comes to priced them was 45k after trade on the GMC and 58k on the Ford. The ford was a 2025 truck, brand new and the GMC was a brand new 2026.
