Apple is almost unavoidable.

But there's no reason to not be able to walk away from the cesspools of Twitter and Facebook.

Nope. Capitalism should have some government regulation, but people call it socialism when that happens. Maybe people on the right now see the need for government regulating things. Otherwise, it’s just a corporate free for all.

They can’t do what they want. There are hundreds of examples of laws governing businesses.

Few come to mind.

HIPAA
Discrimination and Harassment laws
Minimum wage
FMLA
Wrongful termination

Twitter and Facebook are private companies that provide a service. If they want to set a terms of agreement that allows them to remove users that violate those terms, that’s fine. I don’t think a baker should be forced to bake a special cake for a gay wedding and I don’t think a social media platform should be forced to provide a platform for misinformation if it doesn’t want it.

Do you know what the informal fallacy of begging the question is?

They are only for it because it favors them. They didn’t like it when republicans bakers refused to make cakes for gays. How would they feel if trade companies refused to do work in democrats areas ? Is that ok ?
