What in the HELL makes you think those same thugs won't keep DeSantis from winning?

It's for this reason, that Trump must run as this is his last chance due to age. Then it's next man up DeSantis. After that, there are no real candidates that are up to the task or concerned with eradicating the corruption and Marxist movement sweeping America and DC. That's only 2 candidates on the radar for now. It's the equivalent of having two bullets left and waiting for resupply and tossing 1 out because you don't think it will work.

I'd like to see a Trump-DeSantis ticket in 2024. That would set the table for DeSantis in '28.....

AS I've said before = My dream ticket would be Trump/DeSantis with the spoken (unspoken?) plan for Trump to govern for the first 2 years (wreaking havoc among the alphabet departments, righting ages-old wrongs of prior administrations, solving the immigration and trade problems, etc - then turn it over to DeSantis to finish the first term - and then have him available for the next 8 years.

The only way a true conservative can win is to have the balls to call out the fake media. McCain and Romney did not have those balls. Trump and Desantis do. It's the only way - the public knows the truth when they hear it, but they sure as hell want to see that a candidate has the cojones to defend themself from outright lies and slander.

Oh they will absolutely go after any republican nominee with all the vitriol and bullshite they can manage. I happen to think Desantis gives them a lot less to work with and, more importantly, will not be baited and will frankly make them look like the fools they are to enough of the electorate to get elected. I’m not sure Trump can at this point. Sucks because Trump was a very good President but this is what I think. I may be wrong obviously.

trump can come in and needs to 100 mph scorched earth cleaning house at the election fraud industry to burn it to its core. then start a purge of IRS/DOJ/CIA/FBI/NSA/TSA and every other agency.
next he can start doing mass demands for resignations or DD them, of all military leadership right down to midlevel officers to purge the woke and start promoting anyone who had the balls to say no to wokeness BS
then desantis comes in in 2028 for 8 more years to finish what trump was unable to do and start the purge of any remaining rinos and any traitors still left standing after trump leaves

I don't know anyone who says the establishment won't let him. I know a slight majority think he's a seditious scumbag and that's why he probably won't win.
