55 year old here (26 year Army Vet)... The country definitely has changed in the last 10 - 15 years.
Sadly I'd definitely dissuade my 7 year old son from joining the military and becoming a 4th-gen Soldier if this crap keeps up. (Self admit a subtle brag, I had a kiddo on purpose at 48...)
I think we'll right this ship, but it's gonna take a lot of work!! My wife (no pics) is confident also, but we have to not back down!

We're now relying on documentaries instead of published statistics.
America, by historical standards, is living in the safest time period ever. A documentary doesn't change that fact when it's corroborated by the fact that countries across the world have experienced the same decline in crime.
The 1980s and 1990s were much more dangerous than today.

I was pretty sure we would. Didn't have all the details of how it would play out, but a lot of it I was dead right on. That's what scares me. Because I know I'm right about a lot more to come and that's stuff to be truly fearful of. But I've been ready for decades. At this point it's just frustration they're still trying to drag this out longer.

I'm a bit of an optimist regarding this subject. I know there are millions of patriots out there. Those patriots are doing their very best to raise their children to be patriots and proud, moral, principled members of this society. I say this with truth because I am one of them. Hard times make strong men. I don't think we are there yet, but it won't be long before we begin this nation's finest hour.
