What a very odd way to view things.
What is truly bizarre is the inverse: that American blood should be sacrificed defending these parasitic Judeo/Islamic ethno-states in the Middle East.
That many self-described “conservatives” adhere to such a mindset is the result of decades of neoconservative brainwashing.

If this turns into a ground campaign I don't know if they'll have the energy to move the goal posts that far

Bro wait until you learn about the US led intervention on Isis in Iraq and Syria during Trump’s first team. I hear we even put boots on the ground

But that's not what's happening. If you don't understand the global importance of Iran, just say that and save us all some time.

People seem to forget we have. We lost 241 in one day in Beirut. We’ve lost hundreds to Iranian IEDs We’ve lost hundreds more in other proxy attacks. They have been at war with us since 1979. This isn’t a new war. We are only now striking back.

I’m not so sure. Based on what we have witnessed so far, Trump’s “Alleluia Chorus” on this forum seem likely to cheerlead for escalation no matter how far the goalposts are moved.
The ever shifting justifications for further entanglement simply validates their cause. We saw this same twisted logic in the Iraq War.

And people likewise seem to forget that the U.S. shot down Iran Air Flight 655 and that the CIA was complicit in Saddam’s use of chemical weapons against the Iranians in the Iran/Iraq war.

No President — including Trump during his three presidential bids — ever referred to this 40+ year war with Iran. This framing of the long-standing antagonism between the U.S. and Iran is a Karoline Leavitt talking point.

That is exactly what is happening. In 2024, a sizable portion of the over 75 million Americans who cast their ballots for Trump did so with a clear mandate: no more foreign wars and no more reckless regime changes that do not put America First.
Trump has broken that promise. If you don’t understand that, just say so and save us all some time.

I find myself in the company and orbit of many, many Trump voters and supporters, and can honestly and confidently report that your particular viewpoint from which you discuss and debate these matters is quite far from the most common viewpoints and attitudes on the subject.

This doesn't describe the action in Iran.

Considering the volatile political climate in the Middle East, it is by it’s very nature reckless. If history demonstrates nothing else, it demonstrates that U.S. led regime change effort are fraught are fraught with unintended consequences, long-term instability and the very real risk of creating power vacuums that can exacerbate extremism rather than contain it.

Ok, then let’s go back to the original statement:
Now let’s try it a different way. Can you explain your methodology for arriving at that conclusion regarding such a large number of people, and the claim that you are intimately familiar with the details of the nature of any specific mandate(s) that they personally had in each of their minds when they made the decision to vote for Trump?
Or shall I presume that you’re talking out of your arse, and strangely doing so by boiling a rather complex situation/process down to notably simplistic terms that are proposed to be representative of “a sizable portion of over 75 million Americans”…..
Since you blew off the easier route with the first thing…..

Nothing is ever enough. Donald Trump is playing 8D chess….
In 1973, the oil embargo lasted 5m & caused a decade of stagflation. The world was not globalized & things were sourced locally.
1) Today the ENERGY CONTENT of products around you is much much higher than 1973.
2) The West has too much DEBT so impossible to fight stagflation.
