You may be a Christian, but it's evident you don't read your Word. God establishes kingdoms, friend. He ordains leaders. How can the very God who installed kings and judges for His people not care about governing? Yes, He is concerned with relationships with us invididuslly and the condition of our hearts, but He is equally involved with nations.
Just reading a lot of the comments this new age Christian crap is confusing people. God is involved with the details of the government - do not be deceived, brother. Don't take anyone's word for it - today is a great day to start reading it page by page for yourself. Ask the holy spirit for understanding and discernment before you read.

But He said in His 'Second Coming', it would be with a "sword". I don't think it means that HE swings the sword...but just that the inflammatory effects of Truth's coming ("war in Heaven (Philosophical, Moral high ground) and on Earth", will cause the conflict.

I struggle to believe that God is involved with American politics.
I believe our situation is the direct result of our decisions, actions/inaction.
I believe that for decades Americans wanted to live life and let the politicians do whatever they do, while citizens just vote whenever an election comes.
Now the political machine runs the show. We have given them all the power.
We say we need term limits. How is that accomplished? Doesn't a politician have to introduce that for the other politicians to vote on? Those politicians that entered the arena for a lucrative career thet will allow them and their families to be set financially for life are supposed to support it?
