Jettisoned the NFL years ago but have kept a modest interest in CFB.
But this afternoon, zero interest in either.
God comfort, strengthen, and guide Erika Kirk and TPUSA.

I was just gonna post the same thing.
Media and Marketing made you believe it was something more than it was. All for $.
Congratulations on your eyes being open. Now, also turn off the TV.

Bread and Circuses.
I do think the 3,000 pound elephant in the room has become a little more visible the past 10 days or so, though.

The NFL sucks. CFB is my big weekend binge. Interested to know how this effected the NFL today.

Means absolutely nothing any longer. Close to a waste of time.

I'm down to LSU football and LSU baseball. I still have some interest in MLB statistics simply because baseball was a huge part of my youth. But I don't even watch regular season games. Just follow the stats.
The catcher from Seattle with 58 Home Runs has really impressed me this year. That's such a physically demanding position that you don't expect a catcher to hit anywhere close to 58 HR's. They can't even play every day bc they need more rest than other players.

It IS small, in the big scheme of things. It's just a ballgame, after all.

College football used to determine my mood for 4-5 months/year. So much has happened to put it into perspective for me. So I for one appreciate your post and can relate

Posts like this reinforce how out of touch this board is with reality.
Yes, by far the biggest sports league by every metric in America is “small.” Learn something new every day on this board.

It's smaller than life, that's for dang sure. If it's NOT, your priorities are out of whack.

I didn’t know he was a wee man.
That’s interesting.
It explains a lot.
