These pictures are a line of cars in Sunrise, FL just outside of Ft. Lauderdale waiting in line for the food bank that set up a drive through operation

quote:

Dramatic images from South Florida on Monday show a long line of cars backed up bumper to bumper on a roadway while motorists wait hours to get food from a food bank.

A drone captured aerial shots of vehicles waiting in line in Sunrise, Florida, just northwest of Fort Lauderdale, on Monday.

The motorists were waiting to receive food from Feeding South Florida, a food bank that relies on donations to feed the poor.

Feeding South Florida has seen a 600 per cent increase in the number of people asking for food as millions have been laid off due to the coronavirus outbreak.

It's our new world order food distribution, since they stopped taking the food to grocery stores.

It's a food bank

Meaning this is for people who can't afford to buy from a grocery store

I’d bet many of them can. That said, there is a much greater need today than there was a month ago.

Sad... and it all could have been avoided. Simple commonsense precautions would have made this scene nonexistent.
Unfortunately, half of the population is stupid.

You must like it.....people affected by our overlords who have determined that we must destroy the economy to save society.

This whole shutdown and "recovery" is not going to go as you suspect. The middle class is going to get their nuts kicked in. Get used to seeing these lines in more locales.

So in a socialist world, we would spend our entire waking hours waiting in line for food and doctors...got it

I had rather see this type of operation funded by the USDA vs food stamps.

No

I'm hopeful that things open up in early May at the latest

Although I don't expect things to open up 100%. I don't think you'll see things like concerts and sporting events coming back.

Either it all comes back with minimal restriction or you might as well stay closed until a "vaccine" is found. Half assing it will bring halfassed results....and just as many pissed off people, maybe more, because now you are just fricking with people.
