THAT is "straightforward"?

How do you "legislate" the Bible?

No, it's not. How do you "legislate" John 3:16, for example?

You can't "legislate the bible."

I think what you mean is "legislate according to biblical principles".

To be fair, the phrase "Legislating the Bible" doesn't make sense. Unless you plan on enacting laws onto the bible, which still doesn't seem to make much sense.

Now you could have said something like, "who would be in favor of biblical legislation?" Which makes sense, but old testament legislation seems to be a bit much.

Seeing as it’s both unconstitutional and against everything the founding fathers intended I’d say frick no. Not to mention, religious rule is the reason why Europeans came to this country in the first place. Religious rule is a terrible idea.

Real quote he made in the massive Q thread. I’ve askd him about the idiocy of it, and he stands by it. Dude is a known loon, though. He’s all over that thread fighting with everyone who is sufficiently paranoid and conspiratorial for his liking

The Bible of today or the way it was written? Do we include the books that were intentionally left out? Do we include the Apocrypha? These are important questions.
