The other interesting reporting came from the Washington Post (behind pay wall):
Maybe he had dual citizenship? Omani citizens aren't allowed into Israel.

I think this was a real thing. There are too many countries with varying interests investigating this.
At this point, the only thing the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE might want to lie about is pinning it on Iran. SO FAR, that doesn't look like it's happening based on this reporting.
The unusual thing to me is how Israel would have given this Omani pilot permission to enter Israel. I hope we get an explanation for that soon.

Maybe Trump asked Bibi not to respond since Iran is very close to imploding because of the blockade and sanctions?

If it was a false flag by Israel, wouldn't it make more sense to say the attacker was connected to Palestine, Lebanon, or Iran? Wouldn't that give them more reason to attack someone?
It's hard to use a lone wolf attack as justification for attacking a group of people if you admit that it was a lone wolf attack.
It seems like there would be better ways to go about it if the goal was just sympathy for Israel.
