At some point you have to let people make their own decisions. No coke ad on a football scoreboard ever made someone obese.
Cokes and canteen don't cause obesity.
Obesity is because of the home.

proposes and announces are two different things.
Given this administration's propensity for making the rules up as they go along, I would expect implementation shortly.

Most schools couldn't even afford to have a scoreboard without coke
So the frick what???? Seriously....what difference would it make??? Here's an idea...maybe...just maybe...local businesses would have a chance to do some advertising at the games when Coke is no longer around.
But hey, I see the point...the tyranny of government is all over us...the man has his foot on our neck dammit. Why limit advertising to just Coke? Why shouldn't Jim Beam or the local selazy porn theater be allowed to place their ads all over schools also? I can easily see a community warmly embracing the local Asian Rub and Tug joint when they foot the bill for the new message sign in front of the local high scholl replete with an image of the school mascot and the King Asian Spa logo....

Yeah let's focus on advertisers and not the fact a large portion in the school can't read the dam promotions.
You got to be kidding me.

So germandawg the next logical step would be to ban food stamp users from buying sugary drinks, right?

Or perhaps FLOTUS could weigh in and crack down on food stamps and welfare being used to buy weed in Colorado.

Didn't know the cartels were buying advertisement and legal?
Didn't know just say no cost the schools revenues.
But carry on with your strawman!
If that's the best you got, it confirms you are losing.

The schools gets to decide what advertisers they want. The school that should be run by the community, not the federal gov.
Why are progressive just pro choice when it comes to abortion?

Wait, I thought banning toys in boxes of suggary cereal and banning ads during Saturday morning cartoons was supposed to fix the fat kid problem?
That didn't work? There are MORE fat kids than before? WHAT THE F**K? This will work. I know it!!!!

Ummmm, I don't recall the First Lady receiving a single vote from any citizen. How in the hell can she simply decree that anything be done?
Well shite, our next president is liable to be someone for whom that is her major claim to fame.
and "Just Say No" was a little sidelight ad campaign, big difference between that and government edicts like you are Madame Mao or something

Progressives are only pro choice on issues they like. Pro choice on abortion but not on your right to a fire arm or right to buy or consume certain foods.

This is what happens when famous, wannabe politician women have nothing to do.

Conservatives are for smaller government intrusion into peoples lives till they want to invade your bed room and tell women they can't have abortions.
Any thread that says FLOTUS POTUS whatever cannot be taken seriously. First Lady President Wow real words it can be done
When Nancy Reagan and Laura Bush had their pet projects I guess that was OK?
