This obviously isn't the first time Florida has been the center of questionable election day processes.

Why doesn't the SOS catch more flack from folks on PT and elsewhere for not keeping the state running smoothly?

So you want us to be more angry at the SOS than the people doing the cheating? How about i hold contempt for the cheaters in Florida, and the idiots too stupid to do anything about it?

No, I want the state department to hold people accountable rather than assuming a conspiracy is taking place

Voting results should not be questionable

It's complicated. Broward is full of corrupt Dem rats. Remember, it's the home of Debbie the Horrible.

If you take out one, any number of a million others that are part of #resist will just spring up.

But, I support investigating them, taking out the corrupt and doing it all over again until they get the point.

I've contacted my rep and demanded that the laws be upheld and the guilty be held do account.

I'd love to see Snipes go down.

I'm just a little confused why a state that has conservative leaning heads of state would allow this to fester... again

It's annoying

They shouldn't. Which is why strict voter ID laws need to be in place in every state. That way, when shite like this happens, they simply check the rolls and make sure that person isn't voting twice, or dead, or lives in another state/country/planet. You know, all the good leftist tricks.

Trust me. I know how annoying it is. I deal with governments in SFL. Corrupt as all get out.

Supervisor of elections in each county is elected position accountable to voters and not to Fla SOS. Ppl keep electing her and she'll be around for a while.

I am pretty sure they're under the umbrella of the state department.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that is who they have to stay in compliance with, no?

I disagree, I do think this is a Department of State issue:

"We contribute to the establishment of a stable and open state government by providing access to information and protecting democracy through the oversight of fair and accurate elections."

I called and told them I moved to Tallahassee when they asked me what city I'm calling from. Told them I can't believe the corruption and games played with no one doing anything about it. Told her this is the second time since I moved here that this has happened. She was patient and then went back to work. Probably will go home to Fla Man and tell him a migrant is upset about our normal election process. But I did call to complain as a resident.

One of the biggest problems with Republican is believing that Democrats will act and play fair like they do.

Republican have to assume all Democrats are CRIMINALS and will act criminally and in bad faith. They are the devil's spawn and they will act accordingly. They have to be treated as such.

Every fricking Florida election we enter with trepidation because we are always worried about what kind of frickery will come out of Broward and Palm counties. It has to end.

That's fine, but let's just fix whatever leaves these opportunities open so no one can mess with the process.

I just don't understand how a Republican governor and a governor-appointed SOS would allow a process like this to exist. It opens the door to said frickery

So true. We had a school board commissioner caught on camera stealing groceries from WalMark this election. She was not humbled one ioda and was on the ballot again but was soundly rejected.
