My body my choice right? I'm sorry you get scared of dumb shite on the internet but I'm not giving up my rights because you're a dweeb who can't see what the medical establishment tried to do to us in 2020.

Where did I say for anyone to be forced to take a vaccine? In fact, I said it was parents’ right to exercise their choice not if they are granted the exemption.

The point is if you did not get the vaccines, then you can choose to keep your kid home in situations like this to help reduce the spread. Conflating that reasonable request to being forced to inject your kids just shows you don’t actually care other than to say “eff you, my choice”.

Again, if human decency still existed on any side, we wouldn’t be having these issues.

Sad that you still do whatever the government tells you. You've learned nothing.

Your original post made it seem you were confused about the article here.

You have the choice to keep your kid home. The guy even is quoted saying that’s what we typically did. Not bar kids from school that are unvaccinated.

I honestly think you are confused and seem to agree with the doctor.

The stupidity in all of this is people now conflating the Covid vaccine debacle with all vaccines. Add in the idiots that still believe the faked autism link that the actual author admitted he made up and you get this type of mess.

That’s the issue. Not only do you ignore most scientists, but even believe a confessed liar because his made up story fits your narrative. This is what will likely lead to the destruction of much progress made against many diseases in the near future.

Again, I understand and agree with the COVID vaccine bs being utter shite and horrid. I worked on similar technologies years back (not the COVID ones) and there was always concerns with things like liposomes for delivering these vaccines (Pfizer/Moderna) or viral delivery (J&J and AstraZeneca). More of the issues you are seeing from those are because of the vectors not the vaccine itself.

And while people hate the slow/stop the spread approach, in viruses like the measles, it actually works. But hey, you do you and be the horrible stereotype the rest of the world laughs at when they think of Americuh!

The problem is the parents refusing to keep their kids home in this scenario. Without their participation, this approach will not work. I simply disagree that the schools shouldn’t be requiring kids to stay home and offer options to parents to support things here.

Unfortunately, many with unvaccinated kids as you can tell from this thread will simply not keep their kids home. They think their kid will get the measles and for sure get a minor case. That simply isn’t guaranteed and puts lots of people at risk.

Again, the government overstepped in Covid and no one can deny that, but when a history exists to support these types of efforts/steps in regards to slowing Measles outbreaks, then you have to take them.

So many big pharma loving faux conservatives in this thread. If you want mandated vaccines of any kind, you are a liberal.

week I just had what I thought was a horrible flu. I took so much ibuprofen for my fever I ended up messing my stomach up and couldn't swallow.

Have a brother-in-law who had constant migraines, stupidly popped Advil all day...messed his stomach up something awful...ulcers, etc.

Ibuprofen is not to be trifled with.

Especially on an empty stomach.

There are kids that could not get the vaccine for legitimate health reasons, unlike the parents using religious exemptions for their kids (which is their right).

Which legitimate reasons are we talking about? Would these same people also be similarly susceptible to a flu outbreak. My point being if they are so susceptible to disease shouldn’t they be the ones to stay away from school during an outbreak?

Yes, because it’s a choice; you will always have some people choose one option and some people choose the other option.

That is truly one of the worst effects of the Covid era. The “vaccine debacle” has undermined so much trust in the medical community, it will decades to attempt to restore what was lost.

If you are worried then VAX YOUR OWN KID...

That is your only locus of control...even tho you want to direct the rest of the parent's decisions.

All of these “vaccines” are bad. People just started waking up in 2020.
