Measles isn’t very dangerous for kids over 5. It’s much more dangerous for adults.

Being one of seven kids, I managed to fly under the radar and was never vaccinated for it as a child.
I caught it in the late 70s-as a young adult.-5 weeks before my wedding. Absolutely miserable experience, and it took me a month to finally get my strength back.
Wonderful way to lose weight, BTW.

I don’t see a problem with it.

If there is a break out, keep your kid at home if you want to.

You are being given the option.

Good for him. Measles isn't such a big deal like polio. when I was a kid, MMR vaccine wasn't available. Pretty much every kid graduating from 6th grade had had the measles, mumps, and chicken pox. You were sick for a couple days then went back to school. Nobody thought much of it.

When the polio vaccine came out, everybody got it.

I had to have my children's MMR vaccine verified to get them into school. I agree it should be a parents decision, not big brother.

Did you know that some people who got the polio vaccine still got polio?

The GOP has been undermining science and “expertise” for a few decades. The goal is to satisfy their religious base and win uneducated whites. The effort had slowly but steadily decreased trust in science and academia, and culminated during Covid, as millions of Republicans fought evidence-based responses to the pandemic. The Covid vaccine was caught up in the craziness, idiots overlayed that skepticism on all vaccines, and now we have measles outbreaks like we’re a third world country.

Great job.

Third world countries are our #1 import since Biden got in office, so this comparison checks out.

At least you openly support open borders.

To reiterate, you really are a stupid son of a bitch.

You see this is what I’m talking about. You’re obviously not an epidemiologist or infectious disease specialist, yet you think you know more than the relevant experts. The GOP caters to the opinions of idiots like yourself for their own political purposes. You’re a gullible mark.

Do you think that all experts agree? Or do you just follow the experts that think like you?

That’s not the issue. It’s the fact that to reduce the spread, those without vaccination should avoid contact in the short term for their own safety and to help reduce the spread. Unlike with COVID, these vaccines actually work and an outbreak could be quickly controlled if the unvaccinated members stay out of exposure.

And it’s his recommendation that if you aren’t vaccinated stay home from school.

Maybe I missed it, but I haven’t seen your concern about the millions streaming across the border that have no vaccinations, no telling what they might spread.

Since a few people are coming down with measles, I guess an appropriate question is “where do you think measles is coming from”?

Perhaps from third world countries, since we’re letting illegals from third world countries waltz in and disperse throughout the nation?

relevant experts

You mean the experts that changed their minds repeatedly?

Perhaps you mean the experts that have been proven to be wrong in their initial proclamations?

Maybe it’s the experts that didn’t really spend much time analyzing or studying the medication that they were promoting.

You see, it’s idiots like you that lead to goose-steppers like this:

He was a “relevant expert” according to fools like you at the time.

You are such a tool, on so many levels.

Measles are a common, natural reaction. Stop putting these “vaccines” in your body folks.
