You should skip ahead to who you want to blame based on your political stance. That would shorten an already too long thread.

I am sorry you are in pain. Been there. The medications (even the low keyed pain meds) can truly mess with your mind.

They are insidious because when on them you have no idea they are causing a different form of thought.

I wish you a good pain free rest but there appears to be nothing to the flood being nefarious in the rescue. Pray for them. I know of people through TX family that left work to go look for their children by the river.

IMO the hardest part now is parents and family showing and nothing stopping them from searching.

Yet the search called off to deal with them, as they can't officially search. My heart breaks for those in this situation as nothing would stop me from finding my child.

If it's the most dangerous river plain* they should have a better alert system. Wonder how sophisticated their gage system is. Looks pretty rural; doubt they have much funding.

we pay for it already, thru NOAA, Nat Weather service

[link=(live cams, etc.)]Should be river levels map for all of the us[/link]

then most states have another one, based upon the county, or flood district

There can be no negative events that reflect poorly on the Leader. The Leader is celebrating a great victory so this flood stuff is fake news and didnt happen.

The lack of response is just what the future will look like. States are not capable of responses to big events. But we all have to die sometime.

Jesus Christ this is some serious TDS. Did you have the same response when you Dem Leaders in California totally screwed the pooch on an event that would have been significantly less likely to occur if they would have done something as simple as controlled burns?

and Texas could have had better watershed management.

North Carolina before this, Baton Rouge in 2016, these things are gonna happen more and more.

the talking heads on the news are blaming the weather reporters.

if people have been camping there for a lot of years, one would think a NOAH radio would be essential with batteries checked and changed.
