Not pissing on you. I wear a tinfoil hat a lot.
1. Family doesn't want the name of their child put out because he or she made a mistake and killed 67 people. It is going to come out anyway so no reason for a coverup.
2. ATC have been short staffed ever since 911. I know a guy that was working during 911 as it happened. He worked 18 hours a day and didn't get to go home for three weeks.
3. People do things wrong that cause accidents... otherwise there would not be accidents. IDK but maybe the 400ft was because they were trying to avoid the plane. As in trying to take maneuvers (not in a panic) to take their craft out of harms way and accidentally did just the opposite.
IDK what happened I am not trying to convince anyone in either direction. My only point is it could be either and everyone here should recognize that with the facts we have that both scenarios fit.

As someone in the field, this was not JUST a mistake made. This, again, was VFR weather, clear as can be, at night, when aircraft can be seen for MILES. The pilot had already radioed visual on the jet. The pilot had been cleared to land, based upon visual of the jet. This was not ATC. While they have their problems, this was completely on the Pilot....they were operating under Visual Flight Rules. This was either gross incompetence, or intentional. It wasn't just a mistake. It wasn't a congested scene. Sorry.

I think what we’ll find is a chain of incompetence that is permeating anything and everything to do with the Federal govt is what led to this tragedy.

I’ve not seen anything about a “trans pilot from a reliable source…

Has an official source even said there was a female onboard?

1000%
Anyone with any flight experience would say the same thing

Read my post. I was talking about "Jo", the trans UH-60 pilot from the VA AR who was wrongly presented to social media as the mystery pilot, but who has since come out (so to say) revealing it's not him.

I watched a video that claimed to have the voice recording from ATC. The controller asked the helicopter crew if they “had a visual on the CRJ.” That’s it. The controller didn’t clarify by stating “incoming.” There was another outgoing flight that the crew misidentified as the CRJ. Not sure if this is true, but if it is, then this points to failures by the military, the helo crew, and ATC.
Watch the video. The helo had clear view of both planes, landing lights on, from a MILE out. You have a huge field of view from that distance, you couldn’t NOT see BOTH planes in their field of view. Clear night sky in the background.

A transgender helicopter pilot was forced to respond after she was falsely identified as the captain of the Black Hawk that crashed in Washington, D.C.
Jo Ellis has served in the Virginia National Guard for 15 years and on Friday found herself the subject of thousands of false social media posts claiming that she was the third crew member aboard the helicopter that collided with the passenger jet, carrying 64 people.
She resorted to posting a “proof of life” video on Facebook to stop the baseless rumors.
“Jo Ellis” was trending on X on Friday morning and there were more than 90,000 posts spewing the false claims, The New York Times reports.

Your previous post:
I replied to you that Jo Ellis is alive, so he was not the pilot.

Yes, you did. There are still others out there that still believe it was this person.

You just said what I said. It could be intentional, it could be an accident. Your post is an attempt at proving me wrong and you quote above is exactly what I was saying.
