Probably net revenue generated, according to their terms.

They very much are. Any opinion that is not deemed tolerable is silenced by all parties involved, regardless of the amount of revenue that person was generating.

I think the best advice is you go to as many sources as possible and hold no one source up on a pedestal. Sometimes Alex Jones is going to be a better source than DW, CBS, Fox News, TigerDroppings, etc., and vice versa.

Smart dude.

Society is so fricked up, honesty is abhorred and fantasy is appreciated.

When a hardcore leftist like J. K. Rowling is attacked for speaking the truth about trans figs, you know things have turned for the worst.

Nope, I want to know the what is the basis for paying someone on YouTube or any other platform?

Do they pay everyone the same amount?

And this shouldn't even be a controversial thing to say here.

I was saying probably for your benefit. You might simplify it for some reason, but there it is.

Either way, who really gives a shite.

Do you think any of this means that Daily Wire should just pay him and send him off to do as he pleases?

I agree and I appreciate that about Crowder. If DW is willing to pay him $50M for his show, I'm sure they know this too. They know when he does this, they'll be taking arrows, too, so the terms say they're going to share the misery together. But Crowder wants to draw all of the controversy and make DailyWire take all the arrows. It's unreasonable.

I also agree with Gumbo that I like Crowder in small doses but I don't have the patience to watch his long format show.

Because of $$$, not ideology.

Ben, Rush, Hannity would be leftists if the money was there. There is no pride in personal restraint anymore, they just go where the money is.

Crowder is doing the exact same thing.

A lot of guys are doing that. When they want to talk about the COVID jab or climate change is a scam, they go to Rumble/Odysee/Rokfin.

Here is Jeremy Boreing explaining the Daily Wire’s contract they gave him and broke it down.

After watching this, Crowder is better off independently and I don’t blame Daily Wire. Like Jeremy said, Crowder has never ran a company on his own and he didn’t negotiate like most people do when it comes to contracts. If Crowder didn’t like it, don’t sign it.

interesting.

To me, the most entertaining element of the show is watching the way that he plays the line and then reels them in. You don’t get a feel for that in 15 or 30 second clips.

Most people prefer convenient lies to truth. They'll stick with what they know.

Okay. Then decline the offer and move on. The Daily Wire is an online platform that relies on ad revenue and video monetization to survive. Why pay the guy $50 million to create content when his content isn’t making them money?

This isn't some boss and employee, Daily Wire is a company that supposedly loves freedom and free speech.

i find myself very rarely disagreeing with Dave Smith on Part of the Problem.

involved in the Libertarian party, but dropped all the woke BS.

he hardly has any different takes than the majority of this board, but will be dismissed for being an L, because of past Ls.

i actually enjoy his "change my minds" segments the most because is trying to have conversations and not be combative.
