I feel like The Daily Wire is in the right here.

Who is forcing Crowder to rely on Big Tech to make a living?
What are his alternatives for what he does? Pigeons with notes attached to them?

Based on what?
He didnt even know his own subscription numbers. And if he cant produce content anymore, how much is he worth then?

So DW got to play good cop while it rolled over to let YouTube police its content. That’s pretty sketchy.
There's nothing DailyWire can do to prevent YouTube from policing its content. DailyWire already deals with this same bullshite for their own in-house content and their own points of view they want to spread. The only thing content creators can do at this point is self-censor certain topics for YouTube and release the proper version on the private platform. And DailyWire is providing that private platform for Crowder.
It's no different than signing a deal for a movie or TV show where cable TV broadcasts a censored version and the real version of the artist's vision is on home DVD or whatever. If as an artist you demand your movie only ever exist in a non-censored format then your movie is damned to obscurity as a home video only release. And in that case it won't probably won't get funded to begin with.

Nobody on this planet is worth $50M for 4 years.

No land worth more than $2k per acre.
No car worth more than $20k.
No dinner worth more than $20.
What else?

I know I miss his show when he takes "Sabaticals". It is definitely the funniest and most fun show available.

Ok, so everyone who doesn’t present the narrative that big tech wants needs to find another career?

He must have no idea how to monetize his content. I just don't understand why he is not making money with some kind of Rumble deal. I know he probably can't command an investment from them like Glenn Greenwald or Russell Brand got, but I would think they put something into him. Even crazy arse Salty Cracker said Rumble just basically said do what you want, we can help as necessary. Salty, as well as Viva and Barnes, and some other shows like The Duran (geopolitics), have people pour money in during live chats. Surely, his followers would do that?
I do think he is being a bit immature if he wants that kind of money. But, I also totally understand wanting creative freedom. It's just not a good fit.

Uh...if you are in the business of relying on ads for revenue, you're going to bend the knee or do it for free

He definitely seems like the egotistical "creative" person who has no idea how to run a business or the discipline to learn how.
That's why, instead of making his business more efficient and profitable, he's left with going more extreme. Now he's creating fake drama with a somewhat established digital conservative outlet for clicks.
Crowder has a short memory. He's a few bad takes and a few months out of the lime light away from being the next Milo.
