Boering talked about that
He said “talk about the stuff that can be monetized on YouTube and then direct traffic for everything else to DW where we can monetize it”
DW is just supposed to light 50 mil on fire for the cause?

As much as I like Crowder, I feel like The Daily Wire is in the right here. When your entire business relies on revenue generated from ads, and those ads aren't being played over content because that content is banned on major platforms, how would it be good practice to pay an employee who isn't generating any money for you?
And I think that's where the disconnect truly lies. Boering wanted Crowder to be an employee of The Daily Wire while Crowder wanted to be a partner.
I think that last sentence is probably pretty accurate, but because of that I side more with Crowder.
Crowder has built his following largely by himself and with his staff. Sure, he had some assistance from the Blaze platform, but Blaze isn't the one who showed up everyday, chose the topics, did the research, etc.
For the crowd who follows Crowder, getting suspended, de-monitized, etc. on a site... that's a badge of honor to them and they'll simply follow and support him through other avenues. Whether DW realizes it or not, that's the crowd they are wanting Crowder to bring to them. They fricking LOVE someone taking it to the left-dominated Big Tech, Big Media, etc. Whether by intent or simple happenstance, they are effectively trying to proxy those entity's rules onto him, thus it's actually contrary to building his particular audience.
It's short-sighted and myopic (and that's before getting into the merch).

(The ONLY STICKING POINT that matters):
Chyeah -- no chance THIS could ever happen.
This $50m bait for Crowder may as will be a gazillion dollars. It's ALL fictional and theoretic if the Big Cancel Strings are this obvious.
Crowder is sharp.
The Daily Wire = Big Tech Shill = CONTROLLED OPPO / Neocon

His [Crowder's] pay would be deducted if he ended up being banned from YouTube, Spotify, Apple, or any other [aka BIG TECH] website where Daily Wire content is hosted.

You truly believe this?

Nah. They are just smart business. It’s a contract dispute. Lwc bringing it public is a bitch move.

And there we have it.
Big Tech / Big Woke NO LIKEY? Guess what? Crowder's content disappears -- as does his "Payday" Envelope. (UNTIL, UNLESS HE TOWS THE LINE AND "BEHAVES".)
The $50m strings are attached directly to a Self-Censorship booby-trap.

I think the best advice is you go to as many sources as possible and hold no one source up on a pedestal. Sometimes Alex Jones is going to be a better source than DW, CBS, Fox News, TigerDroppings, etc., and vice versa.
I listen to all pundits, opinions, left, right, etc. Was just curious to see what his idea of conservative was.

Not seeing it that way. At all.
Public shaming and scrutiny is exactly what the Daily Wire needs. It's a BS operation.

Crowder has been doing this for a long time with Mug Club.
He knows the game. YT wont let me talk about mumble mumble. Follow us over to xyz, i’ll tell you all about it.
This is where his criticism of them cutting his pay for being banned falls short. He has always realized you have to play the stupid game of big tech and speak with caution to keep revenue streams going. Then you go behind the paywall for the other stuff. DW was simply acknowledging that reality and refusing to take the risk on themselves alone. I am certain since youtube obviously has it in for Crowder that DW would have made an exception in the contract for Youtube.

Daily Wire is a company that supposedly loves freedom and free speech.
And Crowder would still get paid almost 8 figures a year by DW while being de-platformed from YT

It is easy to hammer the Daily Wire and say they are bending to Big Tech,
It's at least suspicious. Matt Walsh says a lot of stuff that infuriates the left on Twitter yet he has never been banned. I've been banned for less on there.

But also wants to continue in their business and producing conservative content.
Rolling out 100 million dollars in guaranteed money, only guarantees they wont be in business long.

I also think Crowder seemed pissed with the amount of content they wanted him to make and the penalties associated with violating that. Crowder likes to take extended time off. That is totally fine if he is independent and his audience is down with that. But if someone is forking over 50 million for you that is probably not going to be cool with them. That is fine too.

Did you listen to Boering’s breakdown?
They weren’t really asking him for a lot of content. And again, were open to negotiations.
The average American works around 260 days a year. They started negotiations at 192. Even said he expected it would end up around 170. He also misrepresented the language and how it applies if he were to get sick or something.
He can just release an extra video the next week or something. He made it out like if he didnt upload at 9pm tonight they were taking all his money.

I would really like to hear how DW is the enemy of conservatism as many of you say. You can point to things you disagree with one or two of the personalities about but I bet I could then show you another personality on the platform that agrees with you on that very thing. Their backstage shows with all of them together can get pretty cagey. That is what I enjoy about them.
