And they have plenty of information from which to answer their questions already. The lack of a question from a lone person who took his time to admit he got it wrong isn't going to change that (or else they aren't a good historian). To the contrary, the things he mentioned in his mea culpa were things Fauci was calling for (or, at the very least, his proponents were calling for in his name and he did not rebuke them).

I admit there can be normal people that are democrats and normal people that are republicans. Not many normal people are the ones that can get elected.
I think the Dems thought Fetterman could be controlled, and the stroke just encouraged them in that thought.
But the result turned out to be that they accidentally put a normal Democrat in office, which is something the modern Democratic Party can’t tolerate.

We are so used to the totally unhinged loons in the democratic party that anyone on their side that speaks common sense seems like a breakthrough.

I am sure Fetterman has his share of crap that I disagree with but I dont think I have ever taken a harder 180 on my opinion of a politician. Plain spoken, humble and seems to be able to listen at least to the other side. Too bad he is in a political wasteland with this position, no way the left allows him to ascend, and I highly doubt he is electable to any national office going forward, moderate views are not allowed from either side.

As I always say, the more he recovers from that stroke the more sense he makes.
Hell, he would already be the best choice for the Democrat nomination in 2028. Only problem is, the Dems wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole these days.
