Who's now magically worth over $100 million, after getting an 8 year salary pay raise to 400k.

When has this "stuff" been done to another sitting President? Why can't EVERYBODY see this is just an extension of the witch-hunt?

I picture this big spinning wheel similar to The Wheel of Fortune but this wheel is called TDS Got’m Now. It’s in the Opposition Research Media war room which is located at DNC headquarters.

I can imagine some of the categories are Muh Stormy, Muh Ukraine, Muh Mean Tweets, Muh Taxes, Muh Emoluments, Muh Two Scoops, Muh NOKO, Muh Wall.....

Can anyone point out the law this "judge" references for an individual to turn over tax filings? Really would like to know. Thanks
FRCP, rules 26-37.

Tax returns have been subject to discovery in civil litigation ... basically forever ... in cases where their content is reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible information.

If I represented the Respondent in this case, I would seek a Confidentiality Order limiting access to the returns, and the judge will usually grant it.

I have no doubt that welders and orthodontists will argue otherwise, so I hope some lawyers with experience in federal court will join this discussion, because it is damned basic stuff.

If the Obamabots got confirmation that his wealth was garnered via robbing the producers, they would only cherish him more.

Again, everything is about "owning the cons".

Manhattan DA is seeking the returns. DA=criminal

FRCP does not apply to criminal litigation in state court.

OP said it was federal court.

I thought it was one of the numerous civil cases. If it is a criminal case, the issues are indeed different.

They are in federal court seeking an injunction against the Manhattan DA(state court) who is trying to conduct a criminal investigation against Trump when no crime has been shown to have been committed.

In that the state is seeking his federal tax returns, where would you seek an injunction?
