Where does this end? What if a Dem tosses an Israeli student for "supporting genocide"? Let's say Kamala won and made Victoria Nuland her SOS and she's scooping up students critical of our support for Ukraine for supporting "terrorist Putin."

Glad to know you think US Citizens are on an equal plain with VISA or green card holders.

Did you even read the Op-ed??? Demanding the University completely changed even it's financial methods of operation. These foreign students have no ducking clue how America works. Get them all out.

There are over 2 pages of questions on a visa application asking if the applicant supports or has any connections with terrorist organizations. Saying yes to any one of those gets the applicant denied.

What are the odds that she lied and her social media proves it.

Well for anyone with a twatter account, I suppose that would be easy to find out. I wonder why nothing has been revealed yet? You'd think those TikTok libs or that Laura Loomer would've uncovered something by now.

The Secretary of State has the unilateral power to cancel visas. Not that my opinion matters, but that seems like a good policy.

To pretend that this was about anything other than the editorial (which doesn't even mention Hamas or any other terrorist organization), however, distorts reality. For better or worse, "we" are just going on the information from this Israeli website:

Here's the website. More power to them. They do a great job of defending Israel.

Right now you can't criticize Israel.

Who will you be denied from criticizing later?

This Israeli website, Canary Mission, does a thorough job of collecting anti-Israeli and anti-American activity among foreign students in North America.

Canary Mission/Ozturk page

My guess is that the Tufts student only came to "our" attention because of Canary Mission. Canary Mission didn't list any anti-Israeli deeds other than the op-ed.

Because there probably aren't any. I read that link.

And again, foreigners on our soil are entitled to freedom of speech and none of her speech in the editorial terroristic.

As always - people like you - ie not smart - conflate the issue

The person is not an immigrant - here on a student visa and yes people here on student visas do not enjoy the same constitutional protections as citizens

Does it bother you at all that she is being removed from the country for a political opinion?

Does it bother you that in the UK you can be arrested for posting something on Twitter as a citizen? Or Ireland?

And this person is a guest in our country - just do what you came over here to do - learn and then go back

Why do you think some foreign student allowed here should also have the right to protest the very country that allowed her to be here? Like a drivers license, it is a privilege not a right

It's just weak that it's a political opinion about another country.

It was good to see in a thread about this on patriots.win the other day, most people felt this was not America First.

neglect to mention the hamas parts

The article does mentioned that the US has said that she has supported Hammas. I have not yet seen any proof of this. Does anyone have a link to what she did or said?

Here's the op-ed she co-authored in her student newspaper (no mention of Hamas) a year ago:

LINK

That's all she did. In his sole discretion, the Secretary of State decided to revoke her visa (as a threat to national security) based on that.

THIS is the only issue that interests me. [The law and common sense dictate that the Secretary of State has the unilateral power to revoke her visa.]

Can you show ANY evidence of her protesting against the USA? I'm concerned that we're conditioned to consider protest against Israel as protest against the U.S..

The Tufts student had no connection to Hamas..

In fact, neither did the poor scmuck at Columbia. I laughed my arse of at the suggestion he was aware of the Oct 7 attack in advance.

To be fair, I doubt he is aware of this.

You know if this Gal was protesting Ukraine or Canada instead of Israel, this board would be tossing off to her right now. She's not even a citizen of this country but they'd call her a frickin' patriot nonetheless.

Israel is a powerful, powerful country. That arm has a mighty long reach.
