If they were tapping him, sure. No way they can randomly pull that stuff. I'm pretty sure the wireless carriers get rid of the actual messages after a year or so

Nah. I think he's slowplaying it, because he has to know that the DOJ needs an airtight, ironclad case to beat these people. Every t crossed, every i dotted and not a single misplaced comma or quotation mark.

What we are learning is extremely disturbing. Anyone and everyone involved in this needs to face the consequences. I don't care if it's a few or a few thousand. We need to restore the rule of law in DC in order to restore confidence that in the system itself.

The "secret society" comment from Page was likely in jest.

However, I think the spirit of her comment was factual. They weren't meeting in dark temples sacrificing goats, but they were conspiring inside the FBI to bring down Trump (by fabricating evidence of Muh collusion).

When she said it's time for the secret society to meet, she meant "Let's all go into Comey's office and start the operation. Me, you, Comey, McCabe, Yates, Ohr, Rosenstein."

Or maybe I am wrong and it was an all-out secret society replete with child sacrifices to the horned god Hathor. I doubt it though. These are nerds, career bureaucrats.
