Agents “were mistakenly sent to the wrong room and detained an individual, not the intended role player,” a statement said, according to the Associated Press.

Probably a practical joke from a coworker giving out wrong information.
At least the waterboarding kept the pilot clean.

There's no way this was a training exercise. This was a botched operation they are blaming on a training exercise.

I’d imagine the hotel has some liability for allowing the drill and not protecting their patrons.

I'd imagine the hotel didn't have any knowledge of it.

TigerDoc and Decatur don't want you criticizing these institutions. You might be a Putin bot if you do.

Pretty sure they’d have to contract with the hotel for the room if they did it on the up and up

The people that killed JFK, lied about Russian collusion, abducted citizens to do mk ultra torture on them... the FBJ and CIA are psychopaths. They kill their own fellow members and then tell the family they committed suicide.
"the up and up"
More like "as above, so below"

The bar must be pretty low to be an FBI agent! Lol
The alarming part is that it took those fricking morons over an hour to realize they made a mistake, maybe this is why their background checks don’t work out so well.
The FBI is good at profiling people and they use that skill to profile the people they hire. Most all FBI agent are one, possibly two generations away from white trash and they experience power for the first time when they get hired by the FBI.
Most of them are do gooder pussys that probably had a police officer for a dad. Decent people just powerless. They get the little eagle badge and the laminated carried ID in a fancy leather binder and all of sudden they are somebody important. People like that will do anything to maintain that position in life, even doing what they are told by the government or else they risk going back to hooterville USA and live out their life as the nobody they were to begin with.
There are no rank and file hood guys, just weaklings doing what they are told to do!

They entered someone’s hotel room, and held them hostage without a warrant.
Even though they thought this was apart of the training, they violated this man rights and should be criminally charged.

Not likely if they came in armed.

Now there is a reason for waterboarding if there ever was one!

I imagine that hotel employees were who called the Boston P.D. about it and I’m certain that there are city police officers all over Boston today laughing their asses off about this f***up.

FBI agents knocked loudly on the door of a room. The guest, a man in his 30s, opened the door and was handcuffed and interrogated in a bathroom shower
He opened the door and then was taken to the shower for interrogation?

It’s okay if the agents were diverse and included equity.

Pilots already make pretty good money.
This dude finna retire with generational wealth, courtesy of the US Government.
I mean, they're all but outright admitting "advanced interrogation techniques", as said above. Pilots handle stress pretty well but you've gotta believe this wrecked the guy.
Is this the precedent for being able to randomly and illegally detain and interrogate anyone they wish from here on out? "Oh, yeah, we interrigated* this guy for several hours during a training* :::cough cough::: exercise but didn't learn anything before we discovered that we had the wrong guy! Woopsie daisy! Sorry about that."
