You know you're full of shite and that the truth is not on your side when you have to LIE to make your point.

NBC's Chuck Todd played a deceptively edited clip of Attorney General William Barr's response to a question regarding the attorney general's decision to dismiss charges against former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. Not only were Barr's comments taken out of context, Chuck Todd accused Barr of not citing "the rule of law" when the attorney general specifically stated the "rule of law" in his answer.
"In closing, this was a big decision in the Flynn case, to say the least. When history looks back on this decision, how do you think it will be written? What will it say about your decision making?" asked CBS' Catherine Herridge during an interview with Attorney General Barr on Thursday.
"Well, history is written by the winner. So it largely depends on who's writing the history. But I think a fair history would say that it was a good decision because it upheld the rule of law. It helped, it upheld the standards of the Department of Justice, and it undid what was an injustice," Barr responded.
NBC edited the video of Barr's answer to remove the whole "rule of law" part, and then Chuck Todd accused the attorney general of failing to cite the rule of law in his answer.
"I was struck, Peggy, by the cynicism of his answer," Todd began. "It's a correct answer. But he's the attorney general. He didn't make the case that he was upholding the rule of law. He was almost admitting that yeah, this is a political job."
The Daily Caller's Greg Price posted a video showing Barr's complete answer alongside the deceptively edited clip played by Todd and the NBC anchor's untrue attacks about the attorney general's answer.

Would love to throw a hard elbow into that face of his.

How can they not know that they're going to be caught and exposed?
All three network news agencies have pulled the same deceptive ruse over that past three years and in every instance, they are proven to be manipulating liars.

They think the same old shite still works that they could get away with in the 90s. Hell, even during the Obama era.
They still haven’t quite realized that Trump and the “pajamahadeen” can pick this shite apart quickly and post what is wrong with it across the world.

Uh, no he's highlighting the "Political job" was the injustice done to Flynn and it was undone by the rule of law.

The MSM used to be the gate keepers of the flow of information. Now they are like gate keepers without a fence thanks to Internet.
Now every website can be a news center and a TV station too.

Hence why they lost their shite on the WikiLeaks posting of the DNC information.
Fredo was out there lying to the American people, claiming it was illegal for them to be viewing it.

Because the sheep believe them and do not care about a fine print redaction the following week. They don’t care about honesty. These are the stories that fuel their emotional hate and that’s really all they want to see.

Apology and claim of ignorance forthcoming.
Remember...this is the same network that made GM trucks blow up with flares and still has Brian Williams in its employ.

Well my 76 year old father-in-law just told me today he doesn’t believe anything in MSM anymore. He has read books by Dan Bongino, Mark Levin and others. Senior citizens who were once hard core democrats are woke!

This is despicable, even by the low standards of NBC.
Once it is stated, though, that's all they need, because they know very few, if any, of their audience members will dig deeper into the story or even question what they say.

Hey good news - MTP says on Twitter that oops, yes we accidentally cut this soundbite up.
Earlier today, we inadvertently and inaccurately cut short a video clip of an interview with AG Barr before offering commentary and analysis. The remaining clip included important remarks from the attorney general that we missed, and we regret the error.
Inadvertently. On a segment that was 100% about the inadvertent fraction of a soundbite.
