I watched enough of that to realize that guy is telling already known things and get ready for this.... He is making it political, especially adding woe is someone upset Joe Kents fren in intel was fired. Waaaaaaah no one cares but people like you.

Unreps can't be done in conflict hot spots, is the point. They can't do unreps under fire, or threat. They can't just leave their position and get to the middle of an ocean to unrep.

The entirety of the ship is always "general quarters man your battle stations" always. When it is, "this is not a drill" They cannot unrep. This is not something to complain about.

I actually spoke to a Sailor who is currently serving aboard the Lincoln. They said that everything the media is reporting right now happened a month ago. Conditions aboard the ship have improved since then.

Exactly. Bahrain attacked and the UK frickers cock blocking Diego Garcia ànd everything they initially could, made it rough.

I have never served, so I have no personal experience with this.

However, a couple of anecdotes:

My son had a friend who spent 5 years on a carrier. To hear him talk, it was almost like being on a cruise ship. Granted, he did not see any action, but he talked about all the great food and being able to work out whenever they wanted, etc. When he ended his commitment, he was jacked.

One of my step-sons is currently on active duty. He's on board one of the guided missile destroyers that has been doing interdictions somewhere in the Indian Ocean. Last week, he was able to reach out to his wife and one of his brothers via text message, so I assume they were being given some leave time. I can't wait to talk to him once his deployment is over.

I wonder why all of the videos being shared originated on the chinese mind control software popularly known as tiktok.

I just watched one on Twitter of a fella going through a bathroom supposedly on uss abe and to be honest, when I clicked on it, I was expecting much worse. Just looked like it wasnt being cleaned by the crew. Oh and the toilets didnt have clear water in them, you know the water youre about to drop shite in.

I honestly thought hegseth was a little off target with his trt and masculinity push, but after this whole carrier condition campaign propped up by china algos, maybe that is exactly what we need, because these kids are weak asf compared the generations prior.

I think you're on to something. Our media and the CCP influence making this a thing in ignorance they will get away with.

Unless the sailors are disciplined. They are counting on no discipline as the media will play defense attorney for the sailors making a stink saying OMB.

Not all of them. It’s true conditions are likely bad. It’s also true they always are and this isn’t unique to them.

They should count themselves lucky that they didn't serve on CV6 during WW2.

That carrier was dodging japanese bombs and they were fighting fires on that ship.

Not for the timid.

The way things are now with tech and social media, one issue is people get to watch their relationship deteriorate in real time now.

Before that it was a mars call with people listening in, letters, or a pay phone / phone bank. Now people doing dangerous work and following home drama daily basis.

This was the case in early 00s when people got ahold of hajii phones and could call home directly and receive calls. Was constant drama and stress coming from wives and girlfriends.

Some folks gonna get back from deployment to find an empty apartment and a cleaned out bank account. Or Brenda the dependa is still there but she spent all the money. So 11-months underway and not a dime to show for it because it all got spent on a failed etsy business.

#1 rule for military: do not get married on active duty deployable unit. do not leave port with a long term gf, do not let gf live at your place while you are on deployment. And finally bang as many hookers as you can. I will save you $10s of thousands and give you a nice little nest egg when you get out (again, do not marry hooker, stripper, or sugar baby).

I understand it’s different stuck on a boat, but I have to say I’m embarrassed at our Navy for complaining so loudly about extending for 2 months max. It’s a bad look to our enemies IMO.

You realize that all this “complaining” is, is anti-Trump propaganda and fodder for midterms. Right?
