True. But what they want is no wall.

Neither side is capable of compromising because it's a binary issue. Yes or no. Wall or no wall. You literally cant compromise. The concept doesnt apply here. Binary.

What are you even asking? Do you know what compromise is?

How long is the government open?

Do you understand what binary means? Yes or no. There is no middle. There is no compromise. Either a wall is built or it isn't built.

What happens in 3 weeks?

Hardly anything in life is binary.
There’s the size of this “wall”, whether it even is a wall, the length of it, what’s it’s made with, where to put it, and anything else immigration related.
I still don’t get the point of this thread. What are you trying to prove?
Posted on 1/25/19 at 4:42 pm to RogerTheShrubber
We will see. No one knows.

Why are you progs against border security now?
DHS and BP say they need more barrier. Are they wrong?

Building a wall is not a yes or no issue with the democrats. We have video evidence that it’s been both. Lol
Just more political games. Party before country is their current creed.

I'm not against border security. And that's not even what this thread is about. It's about the concept of compromise and how people here are misusing the word.

Question—unrelated to this specific topic. I don’t really post on this board often, but I do a good amount of lurking. You’ve been “accused” of being a lib, something you’ve said “pisses you off,” and that you’re actually a centrist.
What right leaning issues do you side with and what Democrats do you oppose?
The reason I ask is that I have friends that always deny they’re liberalism and yet when I ask the same question, they go blank.
I’ll hang up and listen. Thanks.

Absolutely nothing has changed. The opening allows people to get paid, then it's shut down again.

Let's see
Income tax is inherently wrong in a capitalist society.
Property tax is inherently wrong in a capitalist society.
People should be taxed on consumption so it applies to tourists and illegal immigrants.
Abortion after 20 weeks is wrong, but before that I'm pro choice.
I'm in favor of a smaller government that has less access to spend spend spend.
The federal reserve is a travesty.
Government spying on their own citizens should be illegal.
Entitlements are out of hand. We need to either cut back or provide more oversight and increase penalty for abuse.
